Nice machine I own a rug doctor might pro and it did an excellent job on a car interior I had to do I only used vanish powder that’s for colours and wool safe materials in a spray bottle like yours it turned the car seats back cream like the car was when purchased new from dealership and it does the same to my carpets.

Hi Just a quick question, I decided to use my Airflex 400LX to pre spray the carpets i lifted the hose from the solution tank and put it into my bucket of solution and turned on the pump only to find that the filter wanted to float on the top and more importantly the shorter hose which is attached to the long hose pumps water all over the the front step of the property. Was I doing something wrong or has the hose been cut too short so it sprays over the bucket and not back in the bucket. If the two hoses were the same size I suppose it would work but one hose is shorter. I'll send a picture to give you an idea of what I mean. Please forgive me , im probably stupid but I'm a bit stuck on this one .

Hi no worries at all! So my first professional machine was a Kerstar Robin which you’ll see elsewhere on my channel. I picked it up for just £150 on eBay, sent it off to Kerstar and they spent another £200 re-furbishing it for me. It was a reliable machine and looked professional and was a great way to get me started and get my foot in the door. It was a little underpowered and a bit cumbersome. But as a starter professional extractor it wasn’t bad at all and was a step up from say a Karcher Puzzi or something like that.

Hi there love the video very informative and good to watch. I’m starting out in carpet and upholstery cleaning I have my eye on a sebo 360 vac do you think it’s a good choice? Do you have any recommendations on a good vac to start with? Thanks.
@TheCleanersCupboard3 жыл бұрын
Hi buddy. The Sebo 360 is a decent choice, they’re the industry standard. Quiet, reliable and are easy to maintain. In terms of performance they can be a little weak however especially on really dirty carpets. If you want a pre-vac with really decent performance than I’d say a Kirby is probably your best choice. Downside is they’re bloody noisy and a bit cumbersome but they really do clean deep down which is what you need a pre-vac to do. If you can find one an old Electrolux C12 or Sanitaire is (in my opinion) one of the best commercial uprights ever. They’re unbeatable for pre-vacuuming. Failing that a Nilco Combi, Kerstar KV350 or Victor upright are all fairly good choices. Basically you want to go for something commercial that’s designed to be robust and clean thoroughly. Avoid domestic machines like Shark and Dyson. Hope that helps, give me a shout if you need anymore help 👍🏼

The 350 is a bit out of date. It’s a good machine let down by poor filtration and slightly iffy build quality. It performs as well as a BS but won’t last as long. The 350 isn’t actually made by Kerstar like the cylinders however. But as a cheaper alternative it’s not bad.

@TheCleanersCupboard2 жыл бұрын
@@fullblastcleaningservices6042 Where did you get that idea from? The output is more than sufficient for small to medium areas of carpet. You’re only supposed to mist with pre-spray not soak. It’s the agitation method that opens up the fibres allowing the pre-spray to penetrate. I’ve used it successfully for many years with no issues.
@fullblastcleaningservices60422 жыл бұрын
Where did i get that from ? Its common sense and open up the fibres ? please take me through your method ? @@fullblastcleaningservices6042 Buddy, I’m glad you’re happy with your battery operated multisprayer. You stick with what works for you and I’ll stick with what works for me. You’ve watched the video so you know what my method is. I’ve done my training the same as I’m sure you have and run a successful business with many happy returning customers both commercial and domestic. And on that point, carpet cleaning makes up quite a small part of my business. The majority is commercial cleaning. So if I was cleaning carpets everyday maybe I would upgrade what I’ve got.
