Hey, a few quick notes - This game releases on August 16, 2022 and will have more features such as more members of NATO added after launch. A few notes from the developer: - Polishing & balancing is in progress - Localization is in progress - Be advised that watching the content/stream could produce spoilers - Free Camera is 'F1', use Shift/Ctrl/Alt to change speed, +/- to change FOV - 'I' to hide UI, 'O' to hide cursor Will look for info regarding multiplayer, roadmap deadlines, new faction release orders, and features. Let me know what you know down below.

I think a Korean War type rts would be cool, something that mixes modern with the old, jets with prop planes, MBTs with ww2 tanks, the Korean War is a very odd one. Plus we would have so many nations to play from. USA, SK, NK, China, UK, France, Australians, Canadians, Turkish so much possibility

I'm the opposite: love Wargame and MoW the most: but could never get into world of conflict-the unrealistic "rock, paper scissors" gameplay completely put me off. Wargame: has a proper non-gamey attempt at armour penetration, for example. I honestly found the easiest way to learn: was just jump straight into a 10 vs 10 match. I mean, the more experienced players will have found the front line well before you encounter it, so all you have to do is snuggle in around another player, observe what's happening and try to be useful.
@vito7428

World in Conflict is much more casual friendly. With Wargame I found myself taking actual multiple days on a single campaign mission,just inching my forces closer and closer to the objective(granted i'm pretty slow playing it and mostly play defensively and even then i'm bad at that)I know part of the difficulty is Wargame's charm but I really wish there was someway to make it more casual to WiC standards. To the point where I can move a bunch of tanks and not worry about missing an AT-Unit in the forest annihilating all of them while i'm busy admiring how cool it looks

@@vito7428 The way they handled the campaign on AirLand Battle, completely put me off playing it: the way everything would reset each day. Urgh. Otherwise, it's honestly like an arcade game to me, everything's so fluid. Just have fun. I jumped straight into multiplayer from the start, once I realised the campaign was shit. The worst thing I've done, is have an army of nothing but jeeps, lol (friend's suggestion). In 10vs10 you don't have to worry too much. A couple of my favourite decks, are old '70s Soviet air-defence focussed. I'd probably get steamrolled by myself, but with other players around me: it's fine, I just spread my missiles around-no-one can really say that I'm not being useful. Everyone appreciates air defence. They can bite me anyway-I'm not playing for them, I'm playing because I choose to play a videogame. For shits and giggles.

@@rocketassistedgoat1079 I never really got into Airland Battle or Red Dragon. I only played European Escalation's campaign as a way to learn how to even play Wargame. Maybe I'll try again someday. But personally I prefer EE's campaign. It's more linear but it gives a clear objective and lets you tackle it in any way you want and take as long as you need. AB just feels like a timed skirmish match with the AI every battle

Off-map artillery exists because the ranges don't make sense to be on-map. The off-map artillery are all division-level assets(US MLRS, 203mm tube arty, etc), with the on-map units being organic to the brigades/regiments we directly control. Light and medium SPGs and light MLRS.

29:36 and whenever we get Cold war or WW2 it's always late 1980s and mid 1940s. Why can't we have a cold-war-gone-hot scenario set in the 1960s?? Oh right, because WARPAC would've kicked NATO all the way down to Barcelona if war broke out in the 60s...

I loved the idea of world in conflict but hated how they turned the game into world of tanks infantry sucked and were useless and all it became was mass cas attacks and artillery firing with a bunch of tanks. not a lot of tactics involved just try to overpower the enemy with firepower. If we learned anything from modern wars is that infantry still has a big role to play in modern warfare.
@BryanMiraflor
@BryanMiraflor Жыл бұрын
infantry was great in world of conflict. i'd use the paratroopers and have them land in big groups on other sides of the maps for hit and run missions. attack enemy base or units, then run them back into the forest for cover or buildings for garrison.

Kind of hypocritical don't you think? there has always been war. nothing has changed, except for MSM hype and brainwashing and virtue signaling. all forms of games movies and books are always and have always been about war and death, whether its ww2, star wars, Dota Call of duty, GTA or whatever... you say "current times" then you are are never allowed to ever play any game ever again, because there will always be war in ALL times. before and after we are all dead.

"looks much better than this" Looks is much deceiving. Gameplay is the more important factor. Model quality found in Regiments is superior compared to WARNO, they are more accurately modelled, unlike whatever they have created for WARNO. Gameplay is smooth and not complicated, unlike Wargame series including WARNO. Do i need to remind you that people remember fondly of Company of heroes and World in Conflict not for its graphic but its simplicity in gameplay or are you one of those people that thinks " Better graphic= better game" which has become the bane of game development in recent decade and partly responsible for many mediocre to terrible release by double-to-Triple-A studio?
@WeAreBrokenAllIsLost
@WeAreBrokenAllIsLost Жыл бұрын
@@gattonero2915 I'm not sure what you're talking about, modern war is fast. Things happen quickly and munitions are spent at a high clip. Look at the Ukraine war and see how fast all sides are exhausting their munitions. The difference between Warno and Regiments seems to be scope, Warno's engine allows you to simulate games at the division level or up if you have the hardware. Regiments is at the regimental level, which is sub divisonal, so I imagine smaller maps and smaller engagements. Warno might be slightly faster than real life, but I don't think its speed is that unrealistic
