The only thing I don’t like what MINI/BMW did to the interior was making absolutely Minimalistic and boring, the interior in the F60 Countryman and F56 Cooper just look so fun and quirky especially at night and also still keep the expensive feeling, whereas the U25 Countryman and J01 MINI Cooper interior are to bland and boring and look cheap from the inside and expensive on the outside.

Agree! Mini was always the fun, Cool quirky side brand for BMW. Has gone slightly sensible and minimalistic inside

The infotainment screen is actually really cool in the flesh, but those rear light clusters will take some getting used to - especially on the models lower down in the range.

From a person who’s owned a MINI as a first car, they definitely screwed up the design for the new generation. Let me give you the stats of how much sold in Canada for last generation. 2015-2023 Sold somewhere between 260,000 and 310,000 mini Cooper models. (Those are the small Minis that start at 26’000$) Because the old generation was such a smash hit with simple interior and Mini like exterior; now they figure they ditch the mini original design and go new. BMW will realize their biggest mistake when their sales plummet!

Don’t got the reason why should you buy an electric JCW, while they are sharing almost everything the same except the car shell. Just because you pay a higher price to unlock better electric motors, which they can originally perform the same peak level but being hold out?

Believe there are two battery options available for 2024. Unsure if the JCW will be larger, but will be more powerful over the higher SE variant that’s for sure. Battery management is huge, range/ performance.

Mini failed. Underpowered not enough room in the engine to make it faster. No performance options when it has one of the best size and light. 165 hp for 40k. Over priced.
