First Look: Ozone BV1 Vol-biv harness

The Ozone BV1 is a specialist vol-biv harness from the team at Ozone with input from renowned adventure pilot Antoine Girard. Ozone say it is “designed for the toughest vol-biv adventures.” We tested a final pre-production sample in the southern French Alps.

good presentation, not bad this black flying coffin ! I will never understand, why all the airbags coming up at the market after Karpofly ( still the best one available ) do not protect the whole back till to the neck ???

Hello, The BV1 has an integral front mounted reserve parachute container. The container is certified for parachutes with a volume of between 3 and 5ltr. My beamer 3 #130: 4959 ccm. ¿You think it would only be bulky or also could affect deployment?

Please let us know in the full review what you think about the force (and direction) required to pull the rescue out. I personally find it far too much.

The same in the F*Race, it is super hard to pull! Anyway, for me this is the best light harness on the market :-)
