After years of low-key mocking (teasing) a friend of mine about Farming Simulator, I tried '19 for myself (thanks to Stadia). Confused and weirdly addicted, I was looking for more introductory info beyond the in-game tutorial and documentation and stumbled on this LP series. @@Unoxfan2000 played alot more now. Land is expensive though and I haven't borrowed from the bank so ive been saving. Open map in options, press L3 then hover over a paddock and press R3 to select, the price will show on the bottom left. I started with a few crops of wheat but then figgerd Soy was worth more with little investment. Contracts are the best way so far to gain income fast. Buy a small firtilzer tank fill it and use one of your own tractors to complete all of the firtilzer contracts starting with the most pay out, hire someone to do the driving, big cash injection fast. Beware that some of the harvesting jobs on big fields take a while to finish but you must complete other contracts to have firtilzer or sprayer jobs avalible. I use the hire equipment option with harvesting contracts until I have more gear.

Hey, just wanted to comment here to let you know that resetting will drain your fuel, so you went from full tank to basically empty by resetting. I wish I could just hire a helper to drive it to the shop instead. then only pay for the fuel used.

I just purchased this game but haven’t played yet. I’m really hyped because I always wanted to start out with absolutely nothing at all & but your own everything! I’m happy I get that with this one. It would be nice if you had to rely on sleep, weather conditions favorable & not,...I wanted a major challenge + realism. Oh, I was curious if that construction area was just for decoration & if logging is still in this version of the game as well.

if you reset your vehicle you lose almost all your gas, look at the gas level at 32:13 and then at 32:42 after it's reset. It might be worth it to drive back and forth, i'm still pretty new myself so maybe i'm wrong and there's another benefit besides it just being quicker

Not sure about PC yet on Ps4 resetting a vehicle uses up all its fuel and if you are hauling anything in a trailer, you lose that too if you are also resetting that.
