Looks like the big change is more padding? I had the first generation and loved it, except the bottom of the bag seemed pretty thin.

Exactly. It’s a little different. They moved a pockets and I miss em but the new material is really nice and design is slick.

Thanks for the review! I'm considering another Tenba bag, and use mine frequently, but I need to find out how the smaller versions work with two cameras and their lenses. Have you used the old DNA 10, etc.? Also, GREENPOINT! I moved to Tokyo from there and miss it, and often crave me some Paulie Gee's Hellboy. Anyway, Thanks!

Thanks for unboxing! I used to have a (other brand) capactiy 10L sling bag. I think this capacity is suitable for me, but unfortunately this bag is too old. Now I want to change to Tenba’s DNA. I would like to ask if Tenba’s DNA 9 SLIM is equal to 10L?

9 slim is closer to 7L, the 13 is closer to 10L.

I checked out the DNA 9 last weekend and it’s not an upgrade from the older 9. Less pockets inside and out makes it a no go for me.

What are the difference with the last generation, is this only color/material?

Those are the bigger ones. A few design changes. They removed the outside pockets on the flap and honestly I’m kinda bummed about that but there are some small additions and removal of pockets.

A whole lot of fluff in this video show me the bag and how it works. We know its a photographers bag don't need to see 1.5 minutes of people walking around the city carrying the bag. I have always been a fan of Tenba but this video falls short on info abo ut the new DNA Messenger, best of all the creator should know this fact. Get to the point within the the first minute!!

@@PocketDelicious A bag is not a Tardis , it can't suddenly get bigger or be bigger on the inside. You can get stylish ones but how much gear you can get in is the same for same sized bags.
