FIRST LOOK: Texans unveil three brand new helmets

The Houston Texans unveiled three brand new helmets, becoming one of the first teams with three helmets in their locker. In addition to the classic Deep Steel Blue helmet, which is now candy paint-inspired with blue flake, the team updated its Battle Red helmet and added a candy paint H-Town helmet with a new H logo on it.

Glad the primary helmets arent changing. The decal maybe looks like it has more shine? Not to big on the horn ones but the red looks sick. The H logo looks classy.

The blue is darker and the red is brighter. You can’t really tell unless it’s side by side with the old primary helmet. It also has the secondary H logo on the back of the helmet

@@theheardtheorem I was going to ask the same question. I am a mini helmet collector and I was having trouble figuring out what distinguished the new from the old.

I just have one single criticism and it’s “there needs to be a little bit more red on the home jersey”. That’s it. Nice job, Houston! Yall are gonna rock it with this newfound swag
