I bought this in-ear sony and i must say, it is great, great sound and comfort, stay good in your ears and the build kwality is very great. This one have a build-in mic, so you can pause and play music or call someone. And it is great on the ps4, with mic, so you call listen to gameplay and talk to friends at the same time.

I just bought a pair of these Sony headphones and right out the box they work and sound great. Only time will tell if they will improve after I have broken them in. I have tested a lot of in ear headphone recently all at different prices low and high as i use them all day at work. For sound quality they are the best i have used nice & crisp sound with good bass not to much to over power the song. Pros: Look great, The sound quality is nice and crisp and they have just the right amount of bass for me. Con: They don't seem as comfortable as many other I have tried but going to give them a full day at work to test them.

These are not "all aluminum" they are brass, thats the whole point!!!! Plus the ex450 are the aluminium ones, they are cheaper, not just a different colour of this model.

Actually it's available not only in Japan. I was quite impressed when I saw these guys in my local Sony store. Furthermore they costs less than 99$ whats surprised me alot :)

King Blazeit Get the Sony MDR EX650. If you can't get those than try getting the Shure SE215, Sony XB90EX, or Audio Technica ATH IM70. These are all around the same price range as the Sony MDR EX650. Just avoid the Momentum in ears. They're nothing like the actual Sennheiser Momentums.

EX450 is the model without a mic and EX650 should be a model with a mic. I'm a bit confused however since these are supposedly 650 but don't appear to have a mic. My info is from the sonys UK site. There might be more models than these two sold differently in different regions.

+Mohammad Asyraf Ismail Yeah they do, I bought 650EX in January and they stopped working today,... so they lasted me about 4 months, I can try to fix them beacuse only the right earphone isn't working. Do what you want but they are a bit risky, they dont last that long.

+Alphonse Borgueta I had XB50AP and both are pretty good but, MDR50AP lasted me longer but 650EX has a bit better sound quality because 50AP gives you more power to the base. But owerall both are awesome earphones. To me, 650EX are a bit better

Macro Because i bought the ex650 today and own the ex450 also, i can say they actually sound the same, but the ex650 have some more clear and crispy highs wich sounds in my opinion better as on the ex450. In build quality: The ex650 are made of brass and weigh more while the ex450 is made of aluminium. Theyre both resistant enough, the ex650 seems stronger. Both are great headphones, but haven't much differences, you can go with the ex450, but i prefer the ex650 in terms of build quality and sound quality.

650 if you listen to more of a vocal/acoustic style of music, basically 90% of music. But if you love really high amounts of bass, e.g. dubstep and heavy metal style of music, go with the XB70's. Overall, I'd go with the 650's.

After some months of use i've to say: -Very nice earphones -Very bad cord Now I've a very expensive earphones with damaged cord in less than 6 months. Even the phone earphones have better cord. I'm starting to hate Sony, because all her products have defects to allow it to ruin. With this earphones is the very thin and fragile cord.
