Anthony Lilles, S.T.D. is an associate professor and the academic dean of Saint John’s Seminary in Camarillo as well as the academic advisor for Juan Diego House of Priestly Formation for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. For over twenty years he served the Church in Northern Colorado where he joined and eventually served as dean of the founding faculty of Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver. Through the years, clergy, seminarians, religious and lay faithful have benefited from his lectures and retreat conferences on the Carmelite Doctors of the Church and the writings of St. Elisabeth of the Trinity.

I have just come across this a few weeks ago. Although I listen on and off, I knew in my heart that this is a true gift for all including me who struggling. St Teresa and Dr Anthony in their humility has responded to God's graces who is love. By this great effort, they have make this gift for all of us. A gift within a gift, the Lord work through them to give all of us, both sinners and vulnerable sheeps among wolves to take the courage to journey the path laid out by Him through the teaching St Teresa of Avilla to reach His Light. And the only way to understand the Lord is through our heart protrayed as interior castle that is also our soul. This indeed is a great blessings for all of us from God, the Father who first love us and love us unconditionally. May this video and all the videos by Discerning Hearts reach to all our brothers and sisters especially those that are in most need of God's mercy. I have to confess that I tried to read, 'The Interior Castle,' few years ago, but I could not understand it at all. Dr Lilles, I must say this is one of the most spiritual explanations I have listened to, and it is so edifying....I ask the Holy Spirit, to help me to put it in to practice..❤
