Please sir kindly remake or let subsequent series have the sound..... I, my wife and children very much appreciate your efforts sir. God bless you.

@@faleyimuayotomi4388the only Igbo who was killed is because he refused to release weapon Or you want to construct your own history? Fact remains that 99.9 %of the plotters are igbos while 99.9% of the casualties are from other tribes, what I expect you to say to condemn the culprit because that is the foundation of hatred for igbos

Operation Wet ẹ was significantly used in 1962 when Chief Ladoke Akintola and Chief Obafemi Awolowo were embroiled in a protracted crisis thus leading to a high rate of violence and acts of lawlessness with law makers engaging themselves in vicious physical combats in the Western regional parliament.

How did operation wetie concern igbos and northerners,is it not Yoruba problem? Mind you Nigeria is still practicing regional government which has nothing to do with other region, Yorubas know how to stop their problem by themselves You mean those igbos leaders are saints?

Tiv rioted in 1952 against the Hausa - Fulani rulers of northern Nigeria, who took harsh punitive action against them. THE 1964 TIV RIOTS In 1964, there was an outbreak of violence leading to the destruction of lives and property. Deploying the military in 1962 to quell what the Balewa government referred to as the “Tiv Riots” was a terrible idea. All this happens before 1966 Revolution.

@@MoeMoe-jt9ex ? Our bad we didn't want the government exploiting *OUR* oil that now accounts for over 50% of the GDP. Yet, we still don't even benefit from it. Igbo Greediness? Explain. We never consented for the exploitation of the oil reserves in the delta region and now that's still having an affect on it.

The July counter coup was the bloodiest coup in Nigeria. Only 22 casuatiess in the first coup and over a 100 in the second coup. In fact, in the second coup, their were more civilain casualties than military which on its own is an extreme situation

First republic leadership had no clue about how to build a viable nation. With no ideas about what to do, they simply used the country's wealth to give themselves luxurious life, leaving the country to drift. Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu had no choice, but to act. Nzeogwu was a patriotic Nigerian. Just like the first Republic government, successive Administration have followed the same pattern, and the country has been drifting since independence. Oil wealth gave citizens a false sense security, even though there has never been strategic thinking and plans for the future. Spiraling oil price has unraveled our lack of sustainable economic strategy. Till now, there is still no structure in place to diversify the economy, create economic opportunities, and arrest further descent into insecurity and chaos. Nigeria is already a failed State because of her clueless leaders

Oga stop deceiving yourself If nzeogwu is a patriot Nigerian, how come he chose mainly igbos to plan the coup and how come the casualties were mainly none igbos? Only a fool like certain tribe would still believe that false and stupid history

So only Igbo leaders had clue then? Can you compare the achievements of western region with any region then for you to come to that conclusion? The first television station, the first radio station, the tallest building in Nigeria all were the works of awolowo and some western leaders ,will you say those ones don't have clue? Anyway you people love to cover the evil of your people

Western region was developing well , that's why the north and British colonials rigged election in favour of akintola because they say awolowo was on a path greatness.

The biggest mistake was made by General Aguyi ironsi. If this coup had broken Nigeria into pieces,it would had been meaningful but instead of declaring the fragmentation of Nigeria,he was trying to pacify the insatiable north. The same mistake good luck Jonathan made. Never try to pacify the north, just do what you have to do within the limited time available to you

But the North is like a leech that thrives on other people's blood. If the North must survive then it needs to keep on sucking other people's blood. Just watch this clip and you will understand what I am talking about:kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5CthZKGbp6bjck I may come back to add a different perspective to what really happened on 15 January 1966 as an eye witness to that event.
