My bike is ‘22 yz250x with 120 hours and the second plug now. Still have never fouled one.

I hear of people fouling plugs all the time. They must have their jetting way off!

How does your YZ with the HITLIS kit compare to your buddies on the 300s? I’m looking at the kit for my YZ build and curious how it lands the power curve between the “light switch” moto feel and the smooth curve that those fuel injected 300s have.

@@gritmotorsports they're on 250s. You can adjust the HITLIS to your liking. Mild or wild. I have mine set up in the middle. It's very smooth compared to a stock YZ, but not as tame as a KTM. Different bikes completely. YZ is still more racy

I've always carried a spare plug with me but never needed it.

In 20+ years of riding I've never needed it either, so I stopped carrying it. I was freaking out for a minute, but realized I was just an idiot and turned my gas off when I laid my bike down.

@@SingletrackStafford I'll keep carrying it knowing murphy's law, the day I don't I'll probably have a plug failure.

@@rztrzt You make a good point. Back in my pack it goes. Can't argue with Murphy.
