For all you non-basketball people out there, Houston is playing basketball at an extremely high level, the idea is you want to be playing your best basketball going into conference, and continuing to get better week by week! Which they have, that Houston team that lost to Auburn and Alabama in overtime, is not the Houston team today! Wake up people, that is all!

Kentucky is a two of three seed at the worst. They beat Duke, Florida, Mississippi State , Gonzaga and Louisville. Four top 15 Net teams.

Plus losing to a Georgia team with absolutely horrible officiating and a 20+ ft differential, that also just beat #17 Oklahoma last week as well? Ohio State was a bad loss. Georgia is 14-2 and going to be a top 25 team this week. Clemson is second in the ACC at 5-1, right behind Duke.

@sidsid6380 None of them are "bad" losses. From a brief browsing of this, it looks like teams are heavily penalized for losses, and not equally rewarded for quality wins. This is contrary to what the selection committee says - big surprise the NCAA does something opposite of their stated policy, huh? However, we're barely into league play and already seeing these early un-official brackets getting wrecked one game after they're issued.

Alabama is my team but I find it difficult for two SEC what teams to make#1 seeds but we'll see. I have a feeling the conference is going to beat itself up so could have a 13-5 type winner

i like my illini’s chances of making back to back elite 8’s. when jackučionis is healthy he’s the best freshman in the nation and if we win the big 10 tournament I think we deserve one of the #1 seeds, but even if we don’t win our conference tournament i don’t see us being lower than a #3 seed. I don't think si And, the Alabama game was played very early in the season when ILL was just feeling out who they are as a team, because they had to replace to entire team, and these guys hadn't played together much at that point and they are extremely young as a team, going up against Sears and Omoruyi and their older and very experienced team, at a neutral site, technically, but it was played in a gym very close to their home gym, so basically a home game for Bama and almost a true road game for IL.
