Prior to Barbados, the only Caribbean island I've been to is Jamaica. It was such an adjustment for me....the music was low in cars, no one said anything to me in shops, I was walking down the street talking and felt like I was too loud for the place. It took me a few days to adjust and in the end I really appreciated the peace. Felt just like England, police cars looked pretty much the same etc
