As Muslims, we believe in the punishment of the grave. There are many narrations which verify its authenticity. One such narration is: The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "Seek Allaah's protection from the Punishment of the Grave, since the Punishment of the Grave is a fact/true." (Saheeh: At-Tabraanee in 'al-Kabeer' from Umm Khaalid bint Khaalid ibn Sa'eed ibn al-'Aas.) Our righteous predecessors have mentioned many stories in this regard, some of which are as follows: Ibn Abi'd Dunya (rahimahullah) mentioned that one of his companions said, “My brother died and I saw him in a dream. I said, "How was it when you were placed in your grave?" He replied, "Someone brought me a fiery flame and if it had not been that someone else made supplication for me, I think he would have hit me with it.” ("The Soul journey after death" an abridgement of Ibn al-Qayyim's kitabar-ruh.) Bashar b. Ghalib (rahimahullah) said, “I saw Rabia, on whose behalf I make frequent supplication, in a dream. She said to me, "Bashar b. Ghalib! Your gifts have been brought to me on plates of light, covered in silken cloths." I asked, "How can that be?" She replied, "That is what the supplication of living believers is like. When they make supplication for a dead person, that supplication is answered for them on plates of light, veiled in silken cloths. Then they are brought to the dead person for whom the supplication was said and they are told, 'This is the gift of so-and-so to you.'” ” ("The Soul journey after death" an abridgement of Ibn al-Qayyim's kitabar-ruh.) Amr bin Dinar (rahimahullah) said “The sister of one of the men of Medina died and he buried her. When he came back from the burial, he remembered that he had left something in the grave. He asked one of his companions to help him. His companion related that they had dug up the grave and found what they were looking for. Then the man said, "Let us dig further and find out what has happened to my sister." He lifted up one of the stones covering the burial cavity and found the grave filled with fire. He replaced it and filled in the grave again. Then he returned to his mother and asked, "What was my sister really like?" She replied, "Why do you ask about her when she is dead?" He said, "Tell me." She said, "She used to delay the prayer and she also used to go to our neighbours' doors, put her ear to them, and then tell other people what they said." ("The Soul journey after death" an abridgement of Ibn al-Qayyim's kitabar-ruh.) One of the early Muslims said, "We passed by a watering-place on the way to Basra. We heard the braying of a donkey and asked the people there what the braying was. They replied that it was one of the men who used to be with them whose mother had asked him for something and he had told her to bray like a donkey. Since his death, this braying had been heard every night from his grave.” ("The Soul journey after death" an abridgement of Ibn al-Qayyim's kitabar-ruh.) The torment in the grave will vary according to the sins committed by the person in this world, whether he was a disbeliever or a disobedient Muslim. There are authentic narrations which describe this torment for the people who commit these sins. For example: 1 - Being struck with an iron hammer. It was narrated from Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When a person is placed in his grave and his companions leave him, and he can no longer hear the sound of their sandals (footsteps), two angels come to him and make him sit up, and they ask him, ‘What did you say about this man Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)?’ He says, ‘I bear witness that he is the slave of Allaah and His Messenger.’ It is said, ‘Look at your place in Hell which Allaah has replaced for you with a place in Paradise.’” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “And he sees them both. But as for the kaafir or hypocrite, he says, ‘I do not know, I used to say what the people said.’ It is said, ‘You did not know and you did not follow those who knew.’ Then he is struck a blow with an iron hammer between his ears and he screams a scream which everything around him can hear apart from the two races (of mankind and the jinn).” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1222.) 2 -7: Furnishings from Hell are prepared for him; he is clothed with fire; a door to Hell is opened for him; his grave is made narrow for him; he is struck with a great hammer which, if a mountain were to be struck with it, it would turn to dust; and he is given the tidings of torment in the Hereafter. Hence he will wish that the hour would never come. Ahmad (17803) and Abu Dawood (4753) narrated that al-Baraa’ ibn ‘Aazib said: "We went out with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for the funeral of a man from among the Ansaar. We came to the grave and when (the deceased) was placed in the lahd, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sat down and we sat around him, as if there were birds on our heads (i.e. quiet and still). In his hand he had a stick with which he was scratching the ground. Then he raised his head and said, “Seek refuge with Allaah from the torment of the grave,” two or three times. Then he mentioned the soul of the believer and how he is blessed in his grave. Then he said: “But when the disbelieving slave is about to depart this world and enter the Hereafter, there come down to him from heaven angels with black faces, bringing sackcloth, and they sit around him as far as the eye can see. Then the Angel of Death comes and sits by his head, and he says, ‘O evil soul, come forth to the wrath of Allaah and His anger.’ Then his soul disperses inside his body, then comes out cutting the veins and nerves, like a skewer passing through wet wool. When he seizes it, they do not leave it in his hand for an instant before they take it and put it in that sackcloth, and there comes from it a stench like the foulest stench of a dead body on the face of the earth. Then they ascend and they do not pass by any group of angels but they say, ‘Who is this evil soul?’ and they say, ‘It is so and so, the son of so and so, calling him by the worst names by which he was known in this world, until they reach the lowest heaven. They ask for it to be opened to them and it is not opened.” Then the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited (interpretation of the meaning): “For them the gates of heaven will not be opened, and they will not enter Paradise until the camel goes through the eye of the needle.” [al-A’raaf, 7:40] He said: “Then Allaah says, ‘Record the book of My slave in Sijjeen in the lowest earth, and return him to the earth, for from it I created them, to it I will return them and from it I will bring them forth once again.’ So his soul is cast down.” Then the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited the verse (interpretation of the meaning): “And whoever assigns partners to Allaah, it is as if he had fallen from the sky, and the birds had snatched him, or the wind had thrown him to a far off place.” [al-Hajj, 22:31] He said: “Then his soul is returned to his body, and there come to him two angels who make him sit up and they say to him, ‘Who is your Lord?’ He says, ‘Oh, oh, I don’t know.’ They say, ‘What is your religion?’ He says, ‘Oh, oh, I don’t know.’ Then a voice calls out from heaven, ‘Prepare for him a bed from Hell and clothe him from Hell, and open for him a gate to Hell.’ Then there comes to him some of its heat and hot winds, and his grave is constricted and compresses him until his ribs interlock. Then there comes to him a man with an ugly face and ugly clothes, and a foul stench, who says, ‘Receive the bad news, this is the day that you were promised.’ He says, ‘Who are you? Your face is a face which forebodes evil.’ He says, ‘I am your evil deeds.’ He says, ‘O Lord, do not let the Hour come, do not let the Hour come.’” (This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Ahkaam al-Janaa’iz, p. 156) 8 - Being swallowed up by the earth. It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whilst a man was dragging his lower garment out of pride, the earth swallowed him up and he will continue sinking into the earth until the Day of Resurrection.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5345; Muslim, 3894) 9- The edge of the mouth being torn to the back of the head. 10- The head being smashed with a rock. 11- Being burnt in a tannoor oven 12- Swimming in a river of blood whilst being pelted with stones.

Read Surah Mulk every night before you sleep it will protect us from torment of grave, Inshallah. 'Abdullah ibn Masud is reported to have said, 'A man will be approached in his grave from his legs and from his chest and then from his head. And each time this Surah will defend him by saying, 'You cannot do anything to him, he used to recite Surah Mulk'.'

@Trap Town XYXFrom the Hadith perspective Recitation is Important as it is clearly mentioned there. With regards to simply listening, without reading, the one who does that is not regarded as reciting or reading it, even though listening to it is a prescribed act of worship and is something that is required. But he will not necessarily attain the same reward and virtue as the one who reads it. We do not know of any evidence to suggest any basis for regarding the acts as equal. Based on that, whoever wants to attain the virtue mentioned in the hadiths has to read the soorah; it is not sufficient simply to listen to it. If he cannot read it, then he can repeat after the reciter, especially since it is easy to listen via various means. There are recorded recitations that allow the listener to repeat after the reciter. If he is able to do that, then that is better, in sha Allah, and by doing that he will actually have read or recited it, and perhaps he will attain a greater reward for his patience in putting up with the hardship involved in that. Whoever is not able to do any of that, or it is too difficult for him, so he only listens to what he is able to, then we hope that he will not be deprived of the reward of one who reads or recites, or the virtues narrated about reciting such soorahs, if he does what he is able to. @@lightvision1474 im not knowledgeable but i think you can read arabic in english, not the translation it self to recite but arabic in english letters, for example: "bismillah alrhaman alraheem" read the translations to understand but read it that way to recite inshallah somebody more knowledgeable answers your question

the story abt our first night in our grave was something that i was told often since i was in school. i am not at all a good muslim but it's always there in the back of my mind. while people are being depressed and always seem to come to the conclusion to end their life, fortunately, even though i'm a very weak muslim, i still have this very sliver of imann and know that what comes after death is no solution to the problems we have on this world. truly death is most scary thing that we all have to face and like he said in the video, deep down in our heart, we all already know where we're headed in the after life. may we take the chance while we still have our breath and repent to our creator

According to the Quran, there is no concept of a 'punishment in the grave.' This is a concept completely alien and unsupported by the Quran. This concept is found primarily (with all its details) in Islamic secondary sources. From the Quran's perspective, the evidence seems overwhelming that one will become aware of the 'truth' at the point of death. Then one will enter 'Barzakh,' a quintessential state of 'sleep' where all concept of time will be lost. When one finally awakes, one will be confronting the Day of Judgment. The time-lapse will feel as if one had only slept for a small part of the Day when in truth, they would have tarried to the Day of Judgment. Before we take a look at the verses, an immediate question should arise: What would be the purpose of an appointed Day of Judgment if, after death, one were to receive their punishment in their graves before the trial had even taken place? Conviction before trial is not a concept of justice, and God is the Most Just. This would render the Day of Judgment meaningless, a fundamental belief posited by the Quran underscored numerous Surahs and verses. God repeatedly informs His creation that He will never be unjust to his slaves and that not an atom's weight of injustice will occur. All actions will be recorded in a clear record (10:61; 34:3; 99:7-8; 4:40) Furthermore, we note the following from the Quran. FROM THE MOMENT ONE DIES AND IS SUBSEQUENTLY RAISED, IT WILL FEEL LIKE A MOMENTARY TIME LAPSE 017:052 "It will be on a Day when He will call you, and you will answer (His call) with (words of) His praise, and you will think that you tarried but a little while!" 030.055-56 "On the Day that the Hour (of Reckoning) will be established, the transgressors will swear that they tarried not but an hour: thus were they used to be deluded! But those endued with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed ye did tarry, within God's Decree, to the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection: but you - you were not aware." 010:045 "One day He will gather them together: (It will be) as if they had tarried but an hour of a day: they will recognize each other: assuredly those will be lost who denied the meeting with God and refused to receive true guidance." 046:035 "Therefore patiently persevere, as did (all) messengers of determination; and be in no haste about the (Unbelievers). On the DayDay that they see what they were promised (it will be) as if they had not tarried more than an hour in a single day. (Yours is but) to proclaim the Message: but shall any be destroyed except those who transgress?" 079:046 "On the day they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it." Similar wisdom is imparted in other verses: • The sleepers of the cave slept for many hundreds of years (God knows best the exact period), but they felt they had only slept for a little while (18:19) • A man slept for a 100 years, but he only felt like he slept for a part of a day (2:259) THE DAY OF JUDGMENT IS ONLY A BLINKING OF AN EYE AWAY In the context of the above verses, it becomes clear what is meant by the following verse, which completely resonates with the theme of the Quran. It is but a blink of an eye at the point of death (which can come upon any of us at a stroke) and till the DayDay of raising. 016:077 "And to God belongs the Unseen of the heavens and the earth, and the matter of the Hour (of Doom) is but as a twinkling of the eye, or it is nearer still. Indeed! God is Able to do all things." WHEN ONE DIES, THEY ENTER 'BARZAKH' - THE HUMAN CONCEPT OF TIME IS LOST 023:100 "That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is a barrier (Arabic: Barzakhun) until the DayDay when they are raised." Illustration - Joseph Islam 010:045 "And on the day when He shall gather them together, (when it will seem) as though they had tarried, but an hour of the day, recognizing one another, those will verily have perished who denied the meeting with God and were not guided." AT THE POINT WHEN YOU DIE, THE ACTUAL TRUTH (OF PURPOSE) WILL BE KNOWN, ESPECIALLY FOR DISBELIEVERS 006.093 "And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against God, or says: It has been revealed to me; while nothing has been revealed to him, and he who says: I can reveal the like of what God has revealed? and if you had seen when the unjust shall be in the agonies of death and the angels shall spread forth their hands: Give up your souls; today you shall be recompensed with an ignominious chastisement because you spoke against God other than the truth and (because) you showed pride against His communications." A MISQUOTED VERSE Regrettably, without reconciling the Quranic narratives in full and due to beliefs stemming from popular traditions, one often finds use being made of isolated Quranic verses to authenticate doctrines not taught by the Quran. Regarding the example of Pharaoh, the following verse is often cited to justify the concept of 'punishment in the grave.' 040:046 "In front of the Fire will they be brought, morning and evening: And (the sentence will be) on the Day that Judgment will be established: "Cast ye the People of Pharaoh into the severest Penalty." It becomes absolutely clear that this refers to the Day of Judgment if read in context. 040:047 "And when they shall contend one with another in the fire, then the weak shall say to those who were proud: Surely we were your followers; will you then avert from us a portion of the fire?" For this reason, given the context, it is difficult to accept 40:46 as a reference to a 'punishment in the grave .'Mutual disputes between the people of Pharaoh in the fire indicate a state of communal punishment and not a punishment in separate graves. The very next verse provides further clarity: 040:048 "Those who were proud shall say: Surely we are all in it: surely God has judged between the servants." This judgment can only be made on the Day of Judgment. Furthermore, given the descriptive traditions that deal with punishments in the grave, one must acknowledge that Pharaoh actually drowned but was later preserved in the body (10:92) and has no grave in the sense one would commonly understand it. So, the difficulty with traditional understanding continues in how one then reconciles Pharaoh's punishment in the grave when his body was never buried. The verses are misquoted out of context. The key to understanding any Quranic theme is to remain consistent with all the Quranic verses. FINAL THOUGHTS In keeping with all the Quranic verses and to remain consistent, it is clear that the Quran informs the reader that death can approach one at any point. At the point of death, one will come to know the truth, the possible reality of his actual purpose on earth. One will then enter a state of 'Barzakh' where all human concepts of time will cease. Once awoken, one would be face to face with the DayDay of judgment, and it would have felt that one had tarried just a short while (regardless of actual time). This is when the final judgment would then begin, where not an atom's weight of injustice would take place (99:7-8). God's concept of time is completely different from our own (22:47; 32:5; 70:4) SOME QUESTIONS: • Is it possible that mankind, impatient as they are, has devised stories to attribute punishment to disbelieving dead ones to cover the period of existence of man? After all, why should one wait for the Day of Resurrection when it is far more comforting to know that a disbeliever is being punished incessantly till the Day of Resurrection? This is in stark contrast with the consistent Message from the Quran that mankind will only be raised on the Day of Resurrection. There is no intermediate rising that will be a necessary precursor to feeling the grave's punishment (after death and before the Day of Judgment). • Suppose there was such an unjust concept of grave punishment. It seems unfair that someone who dies 5000 years ago should receive a more significant period of punishment in the grave than someone who died moments before the Day of Resurrection and who may be a greater sinner. In parallel, it seems equally unfair to the individual born 5000 years ago that his punishment would be prolonged due to his birth period. How could one reconcile the period of the Azaab (punishment) of someone who died as a disbeliever 5000 years ago and one that died 2 minutes before the Day of Resurrection? • Not everyone is buried in a grave; some are cremated, some are frozen on the tips of mountains (e.g., unsuccessful climbs), some die in aviation accidents, and of course, in many other ways. For those who would wish to reconcile this, a plausible explanation would be introducing the concept of punishment in 'Barzakh,' a state not confined to graves. If this line of argument is to be followed, why is the Quran silent about punishment within this state of Barzakh? Furthermore, why do most of the Ahadith corpus dealing with this topic allude to physical punishment in the grave? The Quran clearly states that from the point of death to one's awakening, it will feel like a mere part of a day. Every night we are put to sleep (which in Quranic terms is expressed as death 39:42), and there is a new rising every morning. Every night, we are reminded of this 'practice run' akin to death and the final awakening, yet sadly, many remain oblivious to God's portents. 039:042 "God takes the souls at the time of their death and the one that does not die in their sleep. Then He withholds those on whom He has passed the decree of death and sends the others back till an appointed term. Indeed in that surely are signs for a people who reflect."

Before we take a look at the verses, an immediate question should arise: What would be the purpose of an appointed Day of Judgment if, after death, one were to receive their punishment in their graves before the trial had even taken place? Conviction before trial is not a concept of justice, and God is the Most Just. This would render the Day of Judgment meaningless, a fundamental belief posited by the Quran underscored numerous Surahs and verses. God repeatedly informs His creation that He will never be unjust to his slaves and that not an atom's weight of injustice will occur. All actions will be recorded in a clear record (10:61; 34:3; 99:7-8; 4:40) Furthermore, we note the following from the Quran. FROM THE MOMENT ONE DIES AND IS SUBSEQUENTLY RAISED, IT WILL FEEL LIKE A MOMENTARY TIME LAPSE 017:052 "It will be on a Day when He will call you, and you will answer (His call) with (words of) His praise, and you will think that you tarried but a little while!" 030.055-56 "On the Day that the Hour (of Reckoning) will be established, the transgressors will swear that they tarried not but an hour: thus were they used to be deluded! But those endued with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed ye did tarry, within God's Decree, to the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection: but you - you were not aware." 010:045 "One day He will gather them together: (It will be) as if they had tarried but an hour of a day: they will recognize each other: assuredly those will be lost who denied the meeting with God and refused to receive true guidance." 046:035 "Therefore patiently persevere, as did (all) messengers of determination; and be in no haste about the (Unbelievers). On the DayDay that they see what they were promised (it will be) as if they had not tarried more than an hour in a single day. (Yours is but) to proclaim the Message: but shall any be destroyed except those who transgress?" 079:046 "On the day they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it." Similar wisdom is imparted in other verses: • The sleepers of the cave slept for many hundreds of years (God knows best the exact period), but they felt they had only slept for a little while (18:19) • A man slept for a 100 years, but he only felt like he slept for a part of a day (2:259) THE DAY OF JUDGMENT IS ONLY A BLINKING OF AN EYE AWAY In the context of the above verses, it becomes clear what is meant by the following verse, which completely resonates with the theme of the Quran. It is but a blink of an eye at the point of death (which can come upon any of us at a stroke) and till the DayDay of raising. 016:077 "And to God belongs the Unseen of the heavens and the earth, and the matter of the Hour (of Doom) is but as a twinkling of the eye, or it is nearer still. Indeed! God is Able to do all things." WHEN ONE DIES, THEY ENTER 'BARZAKH' - THE HUMAN CONCEPT OF TIME IS LOST 023:100 "That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is a barrier (Arabic: Barzakhun) until the DayDay when they are raised." Illustration - Joseph Islam 010:045 "And on the day when He shall gather them together, (when it will seem) as though they had tarried, but an hour of the day, recognizing one another, those will verily have perished who denied the meeting with God and were not guided." AT THE POINT WHEN YOU DIE, THE ACTUAL TRUTH (OF PURPOSE) WILL BE KNOWN, ESPECIALLY FOR DISBELIEVERS 006.093 "And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against God, or says: It has been revealed to me; while nothing has been revealed to him, and he who says: I can reveal the like of what God has revealed? and if you had seen when the unjust shall be in the agonies of death and the angels shall spread forth their hands: Give up your souls; today you shall be recompensed with an ignominious chastisement because you spoke against God other than the truth and (because) you showed pride against His communications." A MISQUOTED VERSE Regrettably, without reconciling the Quranic narratives in full and due to beliefs stemming from popular traditions, one often finds use being made of isolated Quranic verses to authenticate doctrines not taught by the Quran. Regarding the example of Pharaoh, the following verse is often cited to justify the concept of 'punishment in the grave.' 040:046 "In front of the Fire will they be brought, morning and evening: And (the sentence will be) on the Day that Judgment will be established: "Cast ye the People of Pharaoh into the severest Penalty." It becomes absolutely clear that this refers to the Day of Judgment if read in context. 040:047 "And when they shall contend one with another in the fire, then the weak shall say to those who were proud: Surely we were your followers; will you then avert from us a portion of the fire?" For this reason, given the context, it is difficult to accept 40:46 as a reference to a 'punishment in the grave .'Mutual disputes between the people of Pharaoh in the fire indicate a state of communal punishment and not a punishment in separate graves. The very next verse provides further clarity: 040:048 "Those who were proud shall say: Surely we are all in it: surely God has judged between the servants." This judgment can only be made on the Day of Judgment. Furthermore, given the descriptive traditions that deal with punishments in the grave, one must acknowledge that Pharaoh actually drowned but was later preserved in the body (10:92) and has no grave in the sense one would commonly understand it. So, the difficulty with traditional understanding continues in how one then reconciles Pharaoh's punishment in the grave when his body was never buried. The verses are misquoted out of context. The key to understanding any Quranic theme is to remain consistent with all the Quranic verses. FINAL THOUGHTS In keeping with all the Quranic verses and to remain consistent, it is clear that the Quran informs the reader that death can approach one at any point. At the point of death, one will come to know the truth, the possible reality of his actual purpose on earth. One will then enter a state of 'Barzakh' where all human concepts of time will cease. Once awoken, one would be face to face with the DayDay of judgment, and it would have felt that one had tarried just a short while (regardless of actual time). This is when the final judgment would then begin, where not an atom's weight of injustice would take place (99:7-8). God's concept of time is completely different from our own (22:47; 32:5; 70:4) SOME QUESTIONS: • Is it possible that mankind, impatient as they are, has devised stories to attribute punishment to disbelieving dead ones to cover the period of existence of man? After all, why should one wait for the Day of Resurrection when it is far more comforting to know that a disbeliever is being punished incessantly till the Day of Resurrection? This is in stark contrast with the consistent Message from the Quran that mankind will only be raised on the Day of Resurrection. There is no intermediate rising that will be a necessary precursor to feeling the grave's punishment (after death and before the Day of Judgment). • Suppose there was such an unjust concept of grave punishment. It seems unfair that someone who dies 5000 years ago should receive a more significant period of punishment in the grave than someone who died moments before the Day of Resurrection and who may be a greater sinner. In parallel, it seems equally unfair to the individual born 5000 years ago that his punishment would be prolonged due to his birth period. How could one reconcile the period of the Azaab (punishment) of someone who died as a disbeliever 5000 years ago and one that died 2 minutes before the Day of Resurrection? • Not everyone is buried in a grave; some are cremated, some are frozen on the tips of mountains (e.g., unsuccessful climbs), some die in aviation accidents, and of course, in many other ways. For those who would wish to reconcile this, a plausible explanation would be introducing the concept of punishment in 'Barzakh,' a state not confined to graves. If this line of argument is to be followed, why is the Quran silent about punishment within this state of Barzakh? Furthermore, why do most of the Ahadith corpus dealing with this topic allude to physical punishment in the grave? The Quran clearly states that from the point of death to one's awakening, it will feel like a mere part of a day. Every night we are put to sleep (which in Quranic terms is expressed as death 39:42), and there is a new rising every morning. Every night, we are reminded of this 'practice run' akin to death and the final awakening, yet sadly, many remain oblivious to God's portents. 039:042 "God takes the souls at the time of their death and the one that does not die in their sleep. Then He withholds those on whom He has passed the decree of death and sends the others back till an appointed term. Indeed in that surely are signs for a people who reflect."

Recite this dua after every prayer: Allahumma a'inni ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni ibadika Sunan Abi Dawud 1522 Mu'adh b. Jabal reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) caught his hand and said: By Allah, I love you, Mu'adh. I give some instruction to you. Never leave to recite this supplication after every (prescribed) prayer: "O Allah, help me in remembering You, in giving You thanks, and worshipping You well." Take time right now and just say... Alhamdulillah ×33 Subhanallah ×33 Allahu akbar ×33 Subhanallah wabihamdih ×33 Astaghfirullah ×33 Allahumma Inni as'aluka al-jannah ×7 Allahumma ajirni minannaar ×7 This is a reminder to make time for dhikr and istighfar, for it holds great rewards. Furthermore, if you want to erase your minor sins for the day simply say these 3 things daily... La ilaha illallah Allahu akbar Wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah Feel free to reuse this message. We all go through hardships and sometimes it can lead us to get hopeless or even lost. Use the rememberence of Allah SWT to comfort yourself and ask for a solution in these times, because it is surely what Allah SWT likes and wants. I am personally also undergoing a sickness of over 8 months now and to me this video is just a gentle reminder of hardships are just the mercy of Allah SWT. May Allah SWT create ease for us all in this world and the hereafter.

Just to make a correction. Though you may atain the virtue of surah mulk by reciting it at daytime, the actual virtue is at nighttime because the ahadith say Rasullullah sallallahu allay he wa sallam would recite it before he went to sleep. Nighttime - from maghrib onward.
