When this statue was 1st revealed, I loved the color version more. But after seeing both videos on your channel, I think I prefer the smoke version more. Its something about seeing batman really pop with all the villains around that does it for me. Congrats to anyone who got this!

Thank you to the collector for showing this excellent footage of the colored version and Chris for putting it on your channel! These are excellent renditions of David Finch’s artwork. I did give my opinion on your previous video HOWEVER, if you were to get this it would be cool to see the smoke version in the middle of your Premium Format display, with it being in the center on a rotating electric turntable and having all the PF’s surrounding, and maybe moving the hero PF’s to another spot. Time to make that display bigger!

To me the colour version is perfect as it is! I think a piece like this will stand the test of time- and represents an iconic moment of a company pulling off so many villians vs batman in one well done piece. I also imagine it in the middle of a room or center of a desk.

3 years later, I finally got the smoked version for a great deal. I got the color versions initially, but sold for the reason that smoked has a great concept of having the imaginary villains surrounding batman. There’s a reason why XM only released 108 piece for smoked version, thats ⅓ rare than colours.

Great review Chris. It was nine months ago, but I just ran across it. I completely agree with you that Riddler should absolutely have been included and Man Bat excluded. There’s just no comparison between them as key Batman villains. And Bane should have more of his physique showing. I love Batman, but those two aspects, along with the price point, made me pass on it. I hope you find one and can add it to your Batcave. It would make a great addition and you deserve to have it. After seeing both reviews of this fantastic piece on the greatest channel for Batman Collectors ever i would definitely go with the regular version, the colors bring up details that are difficult to find on the smoke version as the monochromatic tone for the villains is supposed to highlight Batman but leaves off details on the other characters. My two cents, an indubitable must buy for the batcave!

Definitely go with the color version. That's just incredible. Sure theres plenty of other characters that would be awesome to include but not having a riddler is the biggest let down about it. Otherwise it's basically flawless.

I like both versions. To me the smoke is a nightmare. Not sure if it's Batman's or Alfred 's. The color one is great if you don't have any other statues. I can understand not having the Toddler. Where would he fit?

Hey Chris, did I mishear you when you said you were gonna sell the Queen 1/3 Heath Ledger Joker to get the new Heath Ledger bust? That bust is nice but the statue is such a superior piece imo, the likeness alone is on another level (and let's be honest, a Heath Ledger piece is all about the likeness). I really hope you find that smoke version btw, it looks awesome!

Smoke version is what I would choose. It holds it's uniqueness. The colored version is just ok. More detail is what I would wanted for the color version. I think the smoke/cloud version would be perfect for you just because you own these other statues that have that detail and color. Can't go wrong with the cloud version.

Hmm I'd say smoke. I like the colored too, but with smoke I think maybe the sculpt can be appreciated better. The color is nice but it looks very busy, it would need it's own special display area to better soak in the detail.

The question mark easter egg was interesting never guessed that either Finch or XM would include that hint, maybe Finch and XM are doing another project of the same art concept of this statue with the Riddler in it, in the future along with the characters in the Sanity statue altogether and alongside with other villains to include such as: Titled statue: The Rogues Gallery. Scarface & Ventriloquist Mad Hatter Ra's al Ghul Black Mask Killer Croc Deadshot Hush Talia al Ghul Solomon Grundy Azrael Red Claw Mask of the Phantasm Deathstroke Joe Chill Court of Owls That would be a massive statue. Bane looks fine where he is taken that that character is a big guy he'll probably over towers everybody in that group where it'll take away the concept this statue which looks amazing and nice you can definitely appreciate the arts. Personally for me the smoked unpainted Sanity statue looks better than the painted version of this statue. Cool review.

No doubt about it, It's a very impressive piece but with that price tag and the glaring omission of The Riddler It's a big pass for me, the question mark in the smoke is a pretty naff cop out for the missing Riddler, a question mark cane poking through the smoke would've looked marginally better! Keep your powder dry, Chris and wait for individual statues of the characters your collection is missing, I would hate for you to regret splashing out on a piece that you're unsure about, follow your gut instinct. If in doubt leave It out!

I like the colored version, the smoke version was all gray accentuated with darkgray and black (batman) in the middle. For me it was boring to watch. The only thing that was colored was the base, the batcave rocks. With the colored version it is like a comic page that comes to life.

This Version is awesome. Not a Fan of the smoked Version at all. I get the artistic Take, but for me it looks unfinished and boring. Those characters need their colours. Catwoman looks the best of them, the only character, that could be better, is Freeze.

The more I look at the color version, the more I get the feeling of an overblown cake decoration. The so called smoke looks more like marshmallow or globs of whipped cream. Very toy like. If I had to get a version, it would be the smoke. Mr. Freeze' s gun looks like a drill or hair dryer and Bane is facing the wrong way to make any kind of an impact. Average at best for $3000 bucks. Just my opinion

To be honest, it looks much too cluttered, there are too many figures too close together facing different directions in different posses. There is nowhere for the eye to rest and appreciate the piece. It just looks like a single amorphous blob. That's so sad, I was expecting something quite special.

@@BatmanStatueCollector in my humble opinion it fails at highlighting any of the characters completely (like I would want it to) by doing an average job more worried about cramming them all in. Something about almost all of them I have a personal challenge with. It is so busy that to me it actually takes away from each of the individual characters.... For the price, again in my humble opinion, I expected more. It is just not for me, which is fine. I am sure many others love it.
