An interesting first look at this commander and it is definitely worth at least another shot. As you have 'oft touted the phrase "it is vital to play it out, as you never know what can happen ". Keep up the great videos!

The wacky races, mtg edition is close yep. Thanks for the video as always ! As for the cards arriving late on MODO, you can take solace in the fact that Arena instead gets broken unfun Alchemy cards instead. I know , i know, the devil and the deep blue sea, but at least this could be real paper magic :)

It’s such a shame with Arena because it was good before they added the alchemy cards. That’s ultimately what drove me away from the game.

That game was Teysas to win from the jump. My deck generally only has a couple creatures at a time and the constant threat of exile was a problem. As luck would have it, the play mistake (not realizing the dragon trigger) is why I picked it. Always play it out for things like that.

Always play it out. Teysa should’ve had it but you always play until they win because there can always be mistakes. gg.

Also, at the 21 minute mark, could you have blow up your own Patron of the Arts to take out the Teysa player? Sacrificing the treasure you did took them to 4. Blowing up the Patron would've made another treasure to sac which would've taken them out?

I guess you risk Teysa sacrificing more of their own creatures to exile the Patron while Bedevil is on the stack. But at least they would've been basically creatureless at that point

Played some MTGO last night, everyone in my games complaining about the lag. Maybe the problems with the engine are too myriad to fix at this point

The lag’s always been bad but it’s a particular issue at the moment. I think MTGO is just being covered in more and more bandages at the moment.
