I'll be honest, I came for that gorgeous flat glass windshield and old school styling of the air breathers... have enjoyed your content, and I see that you've replied on almost every comment made here. I like that. Shows humility, I know once you get up to 10K+ subs it might be hard to maintain, but like one of the old timers on here said, you're making them proud! (I'm no old timer yet, but my dad was. I too am wanting to continue the pride that truckers had back in the 70's, where everyone looked up to a truck driver) Hoping the 2022 freedom convoy up here in canada restores some of that pride, and faith in humanity. Have a good day Nick! maybe our paths will cross someday.

Thanks man! And yes I hope so too! I believe it will just because there are so many of us and we really can put things to a halt if need be like what’s happening in Canada right now! That interior is bad ass brother. That's one mean ass KW. That's actually an engineered pole base we move those alot out here in California they dig a massive hole and put a rebar cage inside with a bolt cage into concrete and then set this base into the bolt cage. Then depending on the pole size they have up to 4 sections on top. Well at least thats the biggest I've hauled 5 piece pole, not all at once obviously. Usually 2 or 3 piece poles.

I have always loved that truck from when they did the the build of it; also the white one they did also. But lets talk loads. You had 5 straps on that load at 5, 400 ponds working load per strap. It does have a breaking point of 16,000 pounds. At 5400 x 5 = 27,000 working load. Now what would happen if the load cut two straps? I drove pipeline in Wv,oh, Pa, Ny, Va, Ky, Tn,Nc. Been pulled up mountain with dozers and rear anchored on the trailer at 90k pds. Rule of thunb is if that truck goes on its side . That load should still be attached to the trailer. Always remember when securing a load that life cant be replaced. Your truck, trailer and load can be replaced. They always made fun of me for overkill on the stapsand chains but I have a video of my load going back into the woods and they dropped my trailer. The rear dozer stopped it but ALL the pipes shifted back and could have killed the man operating the push dozer. Always remember that the ones around you in vehicles cant be replaced. The oher truck with 10 straps and chains would have been how I would have secured the load. Keep the videos coming. Will be watching cheers my man.

Cool story bro. I liked the interaction with ‘ What’s your 20.’ The long wheel base and low profile comes with a price. You do meet good hearted people on the road. I’m sitting in my W-L 900 -L 2023 312 wheelbase. In 3.5 million miles I’ve done more damage at 5 M.P.H. than 55 M.P.H. Take er easy when you are tired and not on a highway. I knocked a pole down at a honkey tonk in San Diego in 1982 on a Friday night with a packed house. All the power went out. I went inside and apologized. Power went back on in twenty minutes. I bought $700 in drinks and everybody ended up laughing and loving me. Got drunk and slept in the parking lot. I was empty and couldn’t load til Monday. I’m gonna sound like your grandfather but I’m in a truck stop eating a big Caesar salad. Wish I had a doughnut. Type 2 diabetes is no joke. The doughnuts will ruin your health. I thought I was invincible. Planet fitness my brother. $23 per month. I see other trucks sometimes. Any club anywhere in America takes the card. Showers and massage by hydro jets.

That rig is pretty righteous for sure. I think you should have like 3 strippers riding with you at all times. To distract the dot naturally. Lol take it ez

You know you have a sleeper on your rig, right? It’s immediately behind the front seats. That’s so you don’t need a hotel room, just so ya know.
@NickWeber1122 жыл бұрын
