When you have nurses and doctors like that you genuinely wish you could extend your treatments. Despite the torture of an abscess on the base of my spine I was really upset that I couldn’t continue seeing the nurse I had everyday. She was an absolute saint and gave me greater confidence regarding my health and well-being when going to my GP or hospital.

Jess Trigwell Yes. It's probably because it was intended to showcase the basic procedures of a standard eye exam, so a full length demonstration would be a bit unnecessary. But I, and apparently a lot of others, watched this thinking it was asmr. I wish it was slower paced because that's what makes it so relaxing to me, but I don't think I was the intended audience so I guess I can't complain.

I've had this before. Nurse got me all ready for the exam, did a few preliminary checks, ASMR tingles were already going. Was just waiting for the Doc and the actual exam to begin, door bursts open she walks in talking 100 mph, no problems. She starts her first check and she's going so fast, I instantly lost all the tingles from it, they came back briefly for a couple of portions of the exam that ALWAYS give me tingles anyway. I never went back to her again, and not because of the ASMR thing, but because I Was the ONLY patient in there at that time and she was whipping through this exam like she had 100 more waiting. I just did not feel comfortable with it, which is a shame because she was cute.

dorianjp i don't really like the whispering aspect of most asmr roleplays, because that takes the realism out of the experience. No normal doctor is gonna whisper so quietly you can't hear them explaining the procedure to you! I get a really good asmr response from this because they take you through the process like they would a patient, explaining in a _normal_ voice, so it feels a lot more real. Plus, the first person perspective of being put in these machines and "tested" is so, so good, i adore going to the optometrist purely for the asmr i get. this simulation is imo far superior to all those whisperkittenasmr69 or whatever channels.

This is completely accurate. I was up till 1:00 in the morning last night worrying because I had an eye doctor's appointment the next morning. There's one part I don't like which is like this puff of smoke that goes into your eye but it's pretty much fine and I didn't get my eyes dilated. The rest was really fun actually and eye doctors and everybody there super nice. After I found out I needed glasses this lady took me around so I could look at different classes and help me pick out which ones I wanted and my mom. Overall it was a really fun experience and I would definitely go back again!

@Sean Mardjani To do a pov style video to make people more comfortable going for an exam. A lot of people avoid these because they are anxious and nervous of the unknown. Just thought it was a good idea to do it this way.
