Surely Asturis must be one of the most beautiful cities in CS1 history. This is a great example of how modern computer gaming can sometimes be qualified as art.

Thanks for showing off Asturis and the magic that CS:1 can do which CS:2 can't yet. Some of the ambient sounds should be heard less frequent though.

Really well done that there's no real place where it feels obviously fake - i.e. no weird empty corner and space between paths or overly steep/sharp sections. It all blends seamlessly together with the buildings and infrastructure around - well done!
@lasoloz697211 ай бұрын
I haven't paid much attention to Asturis so far because Altengrad was way more fun to watch (especially from a bird's eye view). But now, 3 minutes into this tram ride I already love all the layers, elevations, and details in this futuristic city. Great work! I should watch more of this series.

Something I really appreciate about Asturis (and Aurelia before it to a lesser extent) is the combination of contemporary and fictional technology. It makes it feel like a more honest sci fi setting - just because we have flying trains and holograms doesn’t mean we’re going to rip up (or even stop building) tram tracks and physical billboards.
@Gelatinocyte211 ай бұрын
And why would you rip up tram tracks anyway, right? They fulfill a role/niche in the architectural/urban "ecosystem", they don't go obsolete aside from the rolling stock that's on it, and they're never useless or a clutter.

@ultmateragnarok837611 ай бұрын
Definitely a lot of cool views, though I think even more are to be had out the sides of the tram - which, given that's where most of the windows are, does make sense. The tram going through all the different densities and styles of architecture is so amazing to see. Very excited for any other such rides we get to see, from whatever vehicle's path they may be. It's been a delight to watch Asturis grow and be able to recognize most of these structures from those past videos. The added details to the soundscape of the city are quite a nice touch.

Very Nice. You really show some detail skills this time. I watched the video on a IC bahn double deck that looks kinda like this trams which only enhanced the experience. Also Asturis is looking great and much bigger than it actually is! You probably created a new genre or theme there: Cybertropical haha. Only detail I would suggest is to not Keep constant volume of the effects of animals/ambience while the tram is moving. Otherwise it feels like they're inside the vehicle

I just couldn't help picking out all the flying ones and other weird people. I think it's a real shame that you're currently planning to bring the project to a quick end.
