Some context: 1)Recycled 15L container from a restaurant. ( saved from going to landfill and also the cost of transportation of collecting the waste. This container has been growing vegetables for free for 6 years! On the side is written Nantes 2017! 2) The living soil medium is made from waste organic material processed by biology. completely natural and again diverts waste from landfill and cost of transportation to landfill 3) The seed potato's are my own.. acclimatized and kept back every year for seed from an original batch seven years ago. zero cost, like the soil and the container... 4) The pots of potatoes are lined up in a pathway.. therefore not taking up room in a bed.. completely extra.. 5) This is "The Hungry Gap" a time when there is supposedly nothing ready from the garden... 6) They potatoes have been given nothing but rain water throughout.. no fertilizers no sprays nothing...JUST LIVING SOIL 7) The shops do not have new potato's for sale nor do the markets... most are sowing seed... 8) The compost/living soil can now be added to the land helping to regenerate!

Thank you so much Terry! Yes these were prime candidates it’s just I gave a surplus of seed already but not time or compost so I opted for the vermicomposting bins. I mentioned you to someone this week who talked of plants growing in their stones! You always blow my mind chief! Thank you so much for everything! Sending big love 😊🌱💚🙏🧬🥔🔥

Thank you so much bro! I wanting to last night but got carried away with school (APSO) was late up today ( Cuckoo woke me early and I feel back to sleep ) then just before 12 my neighbour had come to visit, ( I was still in my dressing gown 😬 ) She was v understanding and I got ready and put together a wee veg box for her! Harvested leeks , lettuce, coriander, spinach and picked the best of the wee baby spuds and put them in a strawberry punnet , stuck the new label on and wrote in the date/variety etc. Wrote a wee card to explain and dropped it up to her house. ( took Luna ) Felt amazing bro! This is the “ hungry gap “ so extra special.. Going to have the rest this evening with some of the “ Rare Ruminare “ beef mince. The same stuff you tried a steak of when you visited. Absolutely blessed bro… Might have a duck egg from Michael alongside and make a regenerative cuckoo cottage smoothie and celebrate the abundance of God. One love! 🥰🌱💚🙏✨🥔☘️🧬🍄🔥🙌🙌🙌🙌

Thank you so much sweetheart! Yes this is a real success.. to be harvesting spuds here of this quality and at this time is pretty special.. Be a while before they are available anywhere else.. All glory to God sister.. We are truly blessed.. If i ws to try and chit these.. it would take a while.. they are so fresh they wouldn't naturally drift to that like an older potato would for example on from last year.. If you mean the original seed potatoes then yes you re spot on sweetheart.. They would chit straight way and even without chitting just resowing they would immediately start growing again.. Im maxed out tbh.. they are in the wormbin with the PSB 😁😁💚💚🙏🙏✨✨🔥🔥☯☯😘😘 You have the climate for the sweet potatoes and we have the climate for the spuds.. Trish it’s something I crave each year, that new potato! For me it’s just amazing! In the past when living on the coast we might be blessed with mackerel off the rocks at the same time. Normally in summer but sometimes at the same time.. just deeply nourishing and special. B.Queen’s are a wonderful potato boiled with a dollop of butter. That’s my preference at this time. I got carried away last night and didn’t cook. It’s really good weather here atm.but this evening! Thank you so much for taking time to be here. Sending big love. Please give Nick a hug from me! Listening to him last night I wanted to say.. wine cap was perfect for that area he was mulching behind the logs.. Nit that you need it but it would love your land and that context..I was going to rewatch and comment later. I absolutely love the way you guys look after your land.. your kids are going to be growing up in paradise… Much love and respect 🥰🌱💚🙏✨🥔☘️

@@growingwithfungi I know what you mean. Stored potatoes become abit done by spring. I love a good new potato too. I will pass on your hug to Nick, I don't need much encouragement there :). Yes wine caps would do great here, we have lots of mushrooms around, growing by their own means. We just haven't got to cultivation yet. Mackerel is delish. So nice to be able to get fish off the rocks.
