Thank you for the honest review. I have a couple of these bags and they always smell like chemicals not leather. I love them but you do have to air them out for a few days before you can use them sometimes. All the other reviewers make it seem as if the bags have a wonderful leather smell and that is not true. Appreciate your honesty because it is a consideration for some in buying these bags.
