Thank you for the reaction,I love this song and all solo songs in the WINGS album.Actually there is a whole storyline behind BTS videos which are connected(some of them)so to understand the short films you will have to watch the storyline in order or you'll get very confused.There are seven short films.One for each member which correspond to the fictional characters they portray in the storyline actually,so I suggest reacting to the whole storyline to understand what is happening!!!!To understand it though,you'll have to watch all related videos in order.But the storyline might be confusing but it's amazing!!!!It's really interesting and you can form so many theories.This is a helping tip for if you want to react to those or just see them yourself whenever you want.You're not obligated to do anything.Just a little help for if you want to.This is the order: I NEED U MV (19+ version… the censored version cuts out a lot of the storyline) On Stage: Prologue(with eng sub) Run MV Epilogue: Young Forever MV WINGS short films in order 1-7 (These are critical! I've always felt that Lie was about Jimin's struggle to be completely perfect. He is a complete perfectionist and would stay hours to practice, even if they didn't need to practice anymore and his desire to be perfect got so bad that he started to starve himself and I'm pretty sure (could be wrong) that he collapsed once because he was so exhausted and hungry.

I LOVED your reaction your a whole mood. I just wanted to tell you something to clear things up. Do not listen to some "fans" that say jimin's solo, lie is about his struggles with his body or being perfect. Namjoon/ RM the leader always goes live and explain about the whole songs in the album and about lie he just said that RM and Jimin are so alike and when something goes wrong they blame themselves and Jimin was trying to show self doubt in his solo song lie. And actually he improved pwer years and he's not like that anymore. Just wanted to clear things up so don't listen to everything you hear from "fans" bc they're not fans or ARMY they are just solo Stans. And sometimes a fake news comes out and people blow it without any research and just spread it so just listen to what the BTS themselves say. Thank youuuu^^^💙💙

The other solos of the Wings album are also so good : Stigma (V) is also about suffering, Awake (Jin) about a dream, Begin (Jungkook) is about the 6 other members, First Love (Suga) is about his passion for his piano when he was young, Reflection (RM) is a reflection about life and Boy meets evil (Jhope) is about the bad side ! namjoon went on vlive and explained the songs off the wings album, he said that jimin told him this was about how he would be hard on himself and was caught up on his head suffering this "lie" where he would tell himself he wasn't good enough and that he needed to be perfect. the wings solo songs are very personal to the members.

All the solos from Wings are a combination of their experiences and the story which makes them so hard to fully understand. The half about Jimin is about his struggles to look perfect as an idol. The half about the story is about a boy who is trapped in a traumatic experience of his past. All the solos have English lyrics scattered that were placed there on purpose as clues to the story. With Jimin being a perfectionist...there have been stories....that when Jimin and R.M. wrote this song, Jimin has an eating disorder....but u can even see it in photos...he had even said that there was a time when he would only eat every 10 days or so...the only thing that got his attention about it (even though his members tried to help him) was Jungkook...Jungkook started doing the same thing...and Jimin didn't want him to be like him...so he changed his habits....and he has gotten a lot better....he says he slips every once in a while, but he is doing much better....but keep in mind this song was released a couple of years ago....BTW, you want to hear another good song from them with amazing vocals....try "Stigma" from V....OMG!...oh and Happy Turkey Day...I know i am a bit early but not sure if I'll get a moment to say it....have a wonderful day 💜💜💜💜

You should really check out all the solo songs from wings, (Reflection-RM, Awake-Jin, First Love-Suga, MAMA- JHope, Stigma-V, Begin-Jungkook) since you’ve already checked out Lie. I think if you listen to these songs it’ll help you learn more about the members.
