You're right about them both being members of WayV. Ten is white and Winwin is black. As far as I know Ten does not have any contemporary training, but Winwin is trained in traditional chinese dance. They said in the making of this that the dance is open for interpetation, but it's basiclly about the fight between good and evil.

Ten has gotten professional training because he went to a British curriculum school in Thailand and they teach many aspects of dances (and it was a private school so they probably did have teachers trained professionally and of the best) btw I know this cuz I attend a school like ten’s in England

I like to add that winwin say that it was ten who choreographed the dance with winwin help but both didn't have any choreographer training.

Your use of words is kinda misleading love :') Though winwin is trained in Chinese traditional dance,it's concept techniques are FAR different from contemporary. So basically both of them were very new to contemporary dance. Not to be rude or anything but the way you used the word "BUT" (I'm not trying to be a smart ass here) kinda tells like winwin actually has an idea in contemporary.would have been better if you used "WHILE". no hate just love Stay safe btw fam
@nakedherodream94324 жыл бұрын
They did this for their first time dancing to contemporary. Winwin, the dark one, is trained in traditional Chinese dance. Ten, the one in white is a hiphop based dancer but he is a really talented one that can pick up any style (search “ Hit The Stage , TEN “ for more of Ten’s performances)

I honestly think the levels can be a little looser on criticism here purely because of their height difference. Like Ten (light colors) himself said jumping on the same level was pretty difficult for them because Winwin is so much taller than Ten. They practiced to get it as close as possible but I can see how it’s hard. Winwin had to lower his normal jump height while Ten had to jump higher than he was normally used to. Ten is barely 5’7” and Winwin is pretty much 6’0” so I think they were pretty accurate in their levels considering their height difference.
@JeffAvenue4 жыл бұрын
true. didn't know there was such a significant height difference, can't tell with the angles sometimes. but despite those, overall I was just enamoured by this choreography and execution!
@jamlessmochi22964 жыл бұрын
Winwin is the taller one or the one in dark colors while Ten is the one in light colors. The dance was meant to represent one person who is in a constant battle between the good and bad but in the end, the good or light side loses. By the way, this was confirmed by Winwin and Ten in an interview regarding this video. I also forgot this dance was new for both of them because they said that none of them learned this style of dance. They used the types of dances they already knew to make this choreography.
@JeffAvenue4 жыл бұрын
Jamless Mochi that is insane! Truly talented if they haven’t done this kind of dance before! The technique is really good!

Ten (wearing white) is one of the best dancers in K-Pop in my opinion. He has a lot of dance practice videos. Some suggestions: -Dream in a dream, The Station ver. -Devils dance practice, The Station ver. (live performance for this is amazing too but the choreo is different and I personally like the dance practice version better but check both out) -New Heroes dance practice -Coco Chanel choreography practice -Ten Taki Taki choreography Now Winwin (wearing black) is trained in Chinese traditional dance and is a BEAUTIFUL dancer but to my knowledge, I don't know any video you can see of that besides this one: "SM_NCT #3. 7th Sense". He is beautiful in that. You should definitely react to these! (and if anyone knows of any other Winwin videos or practices, definitely lmk!)

But i can't find them, i could only find them in a video where a ballet girl breaks out and analyses winwin's dance and shows how technical he is and how different his dance is from the other members and how it was difficult for him to adapt to the "kpop style" dances. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGnOqGh4f6eYmZI

WinWin is one of the best as he goes to the top dance school The Beijing Dance Academy, nicknamed the “birth cradle of stars” it’s a dance school in China that is very well known and he placed 7th out of thousands of other participants during a testing. He trained in Chinese traditional dance for many years which is a mix between ballet and acrobats. If u look closely, WinWin does the movements cleanly than Ten (not that ten is bad as Ten is more better in hip hop style. it’s just that this dance fits WinWin more as it’s a contemporary dance

When he said "What is this dance about?" I can't hold myself to say what I got from the video.. These two person, they're life. The dark and the bright. Let's say the life that u want is the bright one. But sometimes, the dark must "kiss" you. That's how life works. When they dance together with the same tempo and movement, just like a mirror, they're look beautiful. Like our life. And those two trees, the living tree and the die one, is us. Human. Our soul. At the end, they turned into one tree. We're all have two sides, and we can't change it. We MUST deal with it. Just like this beautiful dance, let's make your life as beautiful as you want.

Both did the Lonely choreography. They are both very good at dancing and have their highlights. I think it’s a representation of yin and yang, where the black (yin) represents a more calm and structured presence, kind of visible in the way he dances too; the white (yang) dances with bursts of energy and more movement. I think the end where they place their heads on each other’s shoulders and stand in front of the tree is a representation of balance in the good and bad, life and death and...you get the gist. Anyways, I love it❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love their choreography for the music. It's like a sad but strong song and it was their first time (I think) when they can do whatever they wanted. I watched ALL of their episodes of Rainbow V. Witch means (I think) that they are different but they are together (Rainbow V EP1 IDK if this is what they said but I remember like this LoL)

I find it a pity that Winwin is not recognized as one of the best dancers in kpop, his passion and his movements are splendid but yet we sleep on him ... I hope he will have more chances to make himself known ^^ i love them ❤

They choreographed this as a part of Rainbow V You Tube show WayV did. WinWin and Ten worked on this together with Ten making most of it and leveraging it as an opportunity to showcase WinWin as a dancer.

I noticed how differently they move, ten is always sharp but winwin moves so gracefully it’s just a beautiful contrast.
