The concept was supposed to be like that. Playful and joyful and reminiscent of friends and friendship, then dark and deep when coming to the concept of your friends not understanding you and feeling along. That's why theres such a contrast in the sounds of the song and the dance. 14:25 - 14:45

However for me, I feel like compared to kino from pentagon dr Bebe facials, i felt they could’ve been something like that. I think part the reason that isn’t as impactful for me is Bcs some of their faces just feel like babies 😂 not to be rude. It’s just they are cute looking.. idk just me

@@Haobinn I completely understand that. I've been with TXT from Crown and it's hard to look at them not as my babies. But there are songs like Fairy of Shampoo that I think fit better right now because of my mindset about them.

The red represents pain I think? The MV is about how even though everything looks alright on the outside, they're in pain. They are dying the house red while putting on these happy faces. The house could also represent their friendship, and how it's being torn down by everyone ignoring their problems. Also the ketchup smiley face really stuck to me. Like they're smiling through the pain. Props to the boys. They came out with a bop. 😊

Your sister does have great taste 😂! I love this MV so much, with all the red imagery and the fire, it's so cool! I personally enjoy the mix of bright and dark, I feel like it shows how when someone is struggling, sometimes they put up a facade to pretend like they're alright. And the "Can't you see me" is kind of the cry for someone to see through that facade and see the chaos going on in their head (like the fire, the messes). In this MV, it feels like the group is together but not, they have small moments where they're irritated with each other and the cracks in their friendship show. It also shows in the disjointedness of the choreo (at least that's what I saw). I love this MV and this song, and the topic hits close for me. Love your reaction, as usual!

If you really wanna see the interpretation/performance aspect of this choreo, you should def check their live stages, i personally recommend the Mnet one, the facial expressions were on point 👌🏼 Especially Yeonjun and Beomgyu's ♥️

Omaghadddd. TXT AND ATEEZ ARE MOSTER ROOKIES!!! In a year both groups showed growth in a short span of time and it’s amazing ❤️. There was a part where taehyun and soobin (in your favorite part) where the members had different fingers out while the other members had their pinkies. I suggest you watch their runaway and magic island mv. They have a storyline as well and it’s beautiful. I personally love the mv for magic island because of it’s cinematography.

2:27 Have you notice their finger sign in the part of “Who’s a liar” . Three of the members have pinky promise sign then the other two have a liar sign. They show the answer in their choreography. I've been watching all their live performances for this song and they're getting better everyday! I especially liked yesterday's performance on The Show (200526). Though I didn't watch the one from today yet lol. Regarding the concept, I think it was a smart way to present a more dark side but still keeping a little bright at moments. It's a connection with their previous songs, it makes a good contrast and it represents the story of the lyrics well. Of course they could go a little harder with the dark parts and make it even more disturbing (it would have been fascinating to watch for me), but maybe Big Hit didn't want to scare their fans that much lol. The members are still young and underage too, I think one of the reasons to not use blood and more creepy imagery (including their expressions and how they sing) here was bc of the rating and their target audience/members' age. ps: There's a little of distortion in Beomgyu's voice here 09:47 but is less than what I thought the first time I listened to it! Yesterday's during their encore live (with 0 backtrack), Beomgyu actually lowered his voice that way. It's really cool!

Just thought I'd mention it bc I think you didn't notice it:) My favourite detail in the choreography (you didn't see it bc they don't put any special focus on it during the practice or MV) is during that move you really liked when they show their backs to the camera. The lyrics then says "who's a liar" and when they have their hand on their back during that move, 3 of them show their pinky (pinky promise) and 2 of them cross their fingers (to represent the liars). It's just a little detail that's easy to miss but I really love it!

As far as the analysis with the sound and wanting more "cry" in their voice, I do agree with you. I think Kai said he questioned it as well not going "harder" with it, which like you said feels like they went halfway. He said that the producers wanted that bit of magical they had in their last albums to be there still. Still an amazing song and I listen to it all the time. Also you should react to Drama and Fairy of Shampoo performances

Not only do they tell stories through the mv and lyrics, but they also tell stories through the dance. At 3:05 when they slid their hand across their face. It meant they were wiping the blood of their face. There are many more moves that connect but, basically the whole dance is a story and connects to the lyrics and mv.

The chorus part where they put their hands to their mouths actually is like theyre wiping blood of from their mouth/lips cause from the fight that happened (mv). I kinda agree with u with CYSM choreo being kinda not like the hardcore style but i like it cause its like a story choreo,every movement actually tells a lot about their group's storyline 😊

I think that any choreography or performance is better live. For you to better understand the choreography of "can't you see me" or any other choreography of the group, would be good if you read the lyrics of the song and get to know the group's storyline. the more i watch reactions the more i can’t help but dig deeper into the theory that beomgyu is the root of it all. him making the mess with the strawberries and throwing the first tomato, yet when yeonjun picks up a tomato it smushes and makes it look like he has the bl**d on his hands and they all look at him like he’s the one who betrayed them and that’s why he has to pay the price in other mvs like nap of a star, magic island, and eternally 😌

i think the reason why the song is like that is bc in the music video, they're all trying to look innocent even though they're all tearing each other apart. so, they're singing innocently in certain parts of their songs, like they do in their older songs like crown, and then certain parts have deeper tones and the sound effects, to show their not so innocent side.

In my opinion, Can’t You See Me is TXT’s least impressive choreography (not to say it isn’t impressive). I just think it’s a different style from what they really excel in. If you want to see something super clean, I would recommend Blue Orangeade (a bside from the debut album).

Should definitely check out the Studio Choom video of the Can’t You See Me choreo. I feel like it’d definitely deliver the kind of emotion and nuance that you weren’t getting from the dance practice. I think for this song in particular, the performance is definitely at its peak when it’s being properly performed on stage so I get the feelings you had watching the dance practice.

I think I know what you're talking about, i feel the same way and from what I see is because they're very focused on the dancing as they're still new. They show a lot of emotions on the live stage but I feel like just with a little bit more experience, they'll be able to shine even more with adding nuances and extra facial expressions. Also they're still so young so some emotions will just also come with age.

He’s my bias in TXT because of how naturally adorable he is:) He’s the tallest idol in BigHit and can be shy sometimes but he seems to be much more confident this comeback and he also seems to be getting more and more attractive, especially with those long legs of his, send help! The move you were thinking of at 7:45 is supposed to be them wiping blood off their face after being hit in the face (I think that was how it was described). It was brought out during a recent interview (not that I can think of which one off the top of my head).
