That last track is emotional to me because it's like throughout the first 3 albums they've dropped ride is always paranoid but this track is like him just throwing those thoughts away. Like the title as well "whatever i want, FUCK WHO'S WATCHING" he's doing what he wants without this feeling of paranoia

And if you do look up the 2015 Deathgrips Soundscape the first result is a youtube video release from....you guessed it ...21st June 2019...

Yeah man! Whatever I Want/Fuck who's watching is awesome. The first and last tracks are for sure in the top tier of DG tracks for me. If you want more of something similar to the last track, it has a lot in common with what the electronic artist Oneohtrix Point Never was putting out circa 2011-2015

Judging from how much you enjoyed GP, i think you would really enjoy WLFGRL by Machine Girl. It basically has the same energy and a similar aesthetic, while being slightly more polished, in my opinion.

I love Government Plates so much. Its definitely in my top 3 Death Grips list. As a massive electronic fan listening to Government Plates for the first time was like hearing a Kraftwerk album dipped in the pits of hell.

The first couple albums feel like a story where he reaches a breaking point in his psyche and after time he feels himself slipping into this sort of misanthropic mania and it leads him into suicidal ideation, which felt most prominent on NLDW and this album felt like did it on the opener and fell into this sort of Wired esque digital afterlife but his rage carried with him and kept him attached to the real world and he emerges out of this electronic river Styx as this fucked up Swamp thing and slowly returns to his next attempt at life no better off than before, led only by the hunger in his stomach I see the powers that be as the last entrance in the arc of that story, probably because that's the last death grips album I liked

it depends on the album. sometimes it hinders the experience, sometimes it helps. I find with death grips I enjoy the music more if I don't read the lyrics on a first listen.
