Actual Things In Glisten's Wiki Page That Nobody asked For There are loads of implications that Glisten is insecure about himself and keeps a prideful facade in order to mask it, all of which tie to Glisten's fear of being all alone without anyone to help him or be by his side: Several of Glisten's interactions with certain Toons reveal more than him simply wanting to be noticed, namely with Tisha, Toodles (if Glisten starts the conversation), and Rodger (if Rodger starts the conversation) in which he acts defensive or even hints the insecure side of himself. While descending to the next floor on the elevator there's a chance for Glisten to say, "Hahahaaa! ...I'm fine." Glisten's laughing could possibly be the type where he tries to calm himself down from sorrow and/or fear, which soon leads to him trying to reassure himself despite the given situation. There's at least two letters that can be found in Glisten's Room in the Roleplaying Mode that also imply his insecure nature, both of which involve him overworking himself in some way. One of them has Glisten refusing to share anything about him that's imperfect in order to show he can handle everything, believing that he needs to be perfect for everyone to like him. The “SOMEONE” from the letter could possibly be Rodger, most likely out of concern, which also relates to their interaction together if Rodger's the one to start the conversation. This could also be Dazzle, as his toon room shares the same floor as Glisten's, and he has similar dialogue with Tisha. Another letter mentions how Glisten felt appreciative after he helped Rodger carry a large pile of files. While he passes it off as his typical prideful self that he shows to the other Toons, there's a sentence that's scribbled out. Most of the scribbled text is mostly unreadable but still says "I just…ould see that.", possibly implying Glisten believes his efforts are still not good enough for the other Toons. As Twisted Glisten, he's the most insecure in this state and even desperate for someone to be with him. Having the fear of loneliness, afraid to be completely alone after all his efforts to not let that happen to himself. Majority of his dialogue usually consists of a desperate cry for help or the sorrowful scream of being left all alone once more.

I feel like when you finish the last machines he doesn't get angry, he's just scared of being alone. It's like he gets Poppy's panic pop at that moment. And notice how he makes small stops? It's like he pauses to take a breath, struggling to not get overcome by ichor. And when he attacks toons he falls down. It's like stumbling and falling as he runs after toons to try and stop them. In reality he's just desperate, lonely and afraid. One of the saddest twisteds to ever exist :c

In my opinion, Glisten is one of the easiest in big groups of runs, but going solo is one of the HARDEST, probably up there with Twisted Pebble and Twisted Dandy for hardest twisteds in solos, considering if you leave Twisted Glisten alone for too long or the elevator activates, he will get mad and get almost as fast as Twisted Pebble. Just saying, this is all my opinion.

I’ve dealt with Glisten solo but I was lucky with the machines being pretty close together and Glisten being near them. The next time I had to do Glisten solo it was a problem cuz he kept hanging out with Shelly 😭 Also Dandy is easier solo imo. Super fun to do solo as well.

Gonna correct the replies, Twisted Glisten has a run speed of 24 (30 during panic mode), while Twisted Pebble has a run speed of 25 (I haven't calculated, but the panic mode speed is 15-20% faster than the normal run speed), so T. Pebble is still the fastest.

When I first saw him, I felt absolutely terrible for him. But even when he’s not a twisted, he still cares about his friends more than his ego, cuz his poster says he’ll do anything to stand up for his friends. Even he tied his hands together with his bow so he can’t hurt anyone, and he is desperately clinging onto the last amount of sanity he has before we had to leave him. I feel absolutely terrible when I had to leave him. First time meeting twisted glisten: Meeting glisten is sad he is always alone and needed someone, which you have to stay with him and also when the machines are completed he will run fast to you or if he didn't see you, he is begging for you to stay with him, he warms your heart if it was cold, he will never leave you alone, he is also fast when you leave him alone, he could be sad than more, he wants your attention to beg you to stay with him, he also attackes you when you go to the elevator he also is angry when leaving him behind, and also get hit, instead stay with him if the top bar have 3/4 ignore glisten he might attack you, instead wait for someone extracting machines -------------------------------------------------------------- I felt bad for glisten 😔

My first time with Twisted Glisten ended up very badly. It was my first time seeing him and I didn't know what to do but watched from a far. But eventually he snapped and ran, so I quickly tried to do the machines but messed up one of them and he, Teagan, and Astro chased me. And Glisten got me shortly after.

I noticed this with two twisted Glisten uses his bow to keep his hands tied so he can't hurt anyone. While Razzle & Dazzle have their scarfed tied down keeping them in one spot, unable to harm anyone unless they get to close to them and wake em up. While Glisten is still aware but in pain, I think Raz & Daz used the last bit of their strength to make sure they aren't gonna harm anyone when they fully lose it

I have a theory! So, in his normal form (the normal Glisten), he wears a bow around his waist/body whatever right? And in his twisted form, he doesn't. It seems, he tied his hands using what's left of it. And you see, in his twisted form, you can see what lies underneath the covers of his bow. I solo'd a main hunt once and I encountered twisted glisten and I was like "oh noes" so with THE POWER OF THINKING I went to the machines that glisten was going to and extract half of it then come back to him so that the purple bar doesn't fill up I saved the machines that were nearest to the elevator and finished the ones that were the farthest and also make sure glisten is far away from the elevator which gives you more time to GTE. (I'm bad at explaining so i hope the beginners will understand this) 🙂

I have a solution to survive Glisten:) 1.Get a team that you know (its even better when you call yourself on some group) 2. His bar over him must stay empty-purple, if it gets full he says that he cant take it anymore and tries to kill us. (He is fast af) 3.One person stays near him 4.One person distracts other twisteds. 5.One/two people complete the machines. 6.When one person is doing the LAST machine, run away from glisten. Dont worry about The bar now. 7.When its completed he snaps, then Quick go to elevator. 8.If there is a Goob, he should bring the person that did the last machine to elevator (not if the machine was very close to elevator) Here you are!❤

in case anyone is in need for a hint on how to deal with glisten i can share one: in early floors it’s best to babysit him until 3 out of 4 machines are 100% extracted then try to get as far away from him as possible if you don’t want to lose a heart

( and as much as it could hurt is ego like a idiot ) ). Twisteds have been around for a long time, it’s safe to assume he got sent out by dandy. Got attacked. Got left behind when he started showing signs to avoid anyone else getting hurt, and when he sees us ( the players ), he gets desperate for comfort, to be near someone again, just be left alone again for god knows how long.

@@Chillcoretime I mean that’s not really bad though….. it’s the only choice. And even if he did get left behind that’s the only lore he has. What about the fact Goob looks traumatised? Or that Astro suffers from guilt and grief? Or that Shelly was ignored? All those have lore but I never see anyone acting sad over it. Everyone always over looks the other twisteds but they act all sad over glisten. The only logical reason is because he doesn’t attack. I’ve seen other points like “oh but we see him be really sad” or “he’s really lonely” as if the other twisteds didn’t experience that. Any point they mention either applies to the other twisteds, or make him less sad.

One of my favorite toons! I had him back to back in one of my solo runs two days ago and I'd say it was hard ONLY because of the other toons that you have to deal with (I got him along with Goob on floor 3 and Poppy on floor 4). I enjoy the mechanic but I get sad whenever I see him 😢
