I'm glad you found her. Listen to all her music, I haven't found one song of hers that I disliked. Such a beautiful voice!! Her songs are too short for my taste, so I listen to them on repeat to reset my soul.

Nice song. I hadn't really gotten around to Myrkur yet, although it has been in my periphery for a while now. It reminded me that I really would like you to watch "Ulvetime" by Songliker, I think you will find it absolutely stunning. Songliker is a hobby project by the Maria Franz and Christopher Juul, both core members of Heilung. I actually think they live in Cph. It is a song that realy need some reaction love, but it is hard to get any reactors to watch it (I have tried :) )

For more of this style I might recommend her album “Folkesange”. This album features folk music from all over Scandinavia, mostly from Denmark and Norway. You probably never heard of her because she made her name with very heavy rock music, leaning towards death metal.

Since Amalie started Myrkur as a black metal act, I really think you also should react to Norwegian band Dimmu Borgir, especially the live performance of the song Gateways that was recorded in Oslo with a full orchestra and choir.
