This lyric is the song of regret . He and she are friends from children . And he recognized her for like junior sister . But she decided go back to home maybe marry with the person her parent decided. In such situation, at first he find in depth of his heart , He loves her usually....

As I see it, this is a song about the end of a relationship between the narrator (probably male because "boku") and his friend (female?). She's leaving Tokyo (the place young Japanese people go to seek their dreams) because she's grown up, but he isn't because he hasn't. He can't even watch her through the window as the train leaves because he's afraid she's saying good-bye. I would say the snow represents his unwillingness to accept that things have moved on, but its melting shows that it's inevitable.

Está hermosa canción solían ponerla en radio NHK radio internacional de Japón onda corta cuarta banda, ahí escuché esta canción por el año 2004 aún conservo las grabaciones, siempre la escucho en mi trabajo en mi oficina mientras hago mis deberes saludos desde tacna Perú 🇵🇪☺️ !
