Rage is a german power metal band founded in the mid 80s, like Blind Guardian. In 1996 they started a project called "Lingua Mortis" playing a few of their songs with the Symphony Orchestra of Prague; not the worst in the world ;) "In a nameless time" is the opening song to this concept EP. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX_SpKZ3aKqro8U --> complete EP The Medley, song 3 of the EP, is by far the best they have ever made. Rage is a good band with Vagner"s great voice and really strong guitar, Smolny if I'm not mistaken

One of the few bands who combine metal with an orchestra…this can be devastatingly good..or bad. This band seem to have integrated the ‘right mix’ to make it interesting and listenable. Not a band I’m familiar with…another example of the power of the internet and patreons who suggest the music. I like songs that have a slow fuse in terms of its progression, and then exploding into full force. Sabina…I think your reaction was mirroring mine…waiting in anticipation for the musical power explosion. Great song.
