Toxicity is a landmark record and I'm proud how they use their platform and clout to speak up for Palestinians and Armenians across the planet. That's how SOAD is. They're Armenians who went to the same Armenian school in California. But I do know the singer, Serj grew up there as a kid up until 7, I think. It is really great to see someone appreciate SOAD for the first time. Especially after I've grown up with them since middle school. Its been such a shame that they broke up and haven't been able to put out anything since Hypotize. We got a couple songs recently but that was only because they could finally (briefly) get over their egos to raise awareness for the Armenians again. One thing that sucks about getting old is realizing your favorite artists are never going to put out another album.
