Not only was Jimin the one to do all the writing and drawing on the mirror, but I also believe that some of the drawings, sketches seen in the MV for “Closer than This”, were also Jimin’s! It definitely looked like his style. Though for some reason, it’s not known as much in the fandom, Jimin is quite impressive in his artwork, as seen in some rare times during run episodes & or behind the scenes.. Jimin excelled not only in art class but Jimin also took calligraphy, which shows in the way he writes as well! ❣Jimin, growing up, since quite young age, even pre mid school, was always into hip hop & r&b music. Aside from Rain, Taeyang, & BoA, Korean idols, known not just for amazing vocals, but their dance ability, Jimin was also heavily influenced, with other role models, such as Chris Brown, & Usher. So it goes to follow he’d also appreciate other equally well known artists who also were amazing dancers & performers aside from vocal ability. It also goes without saying that Jimin, was indeed heavily influenced by MJ. He even taught Jin to moon dance for Dynamite MV, also Jimin was the one that suggested other MJ moves also for BTS song “Dynamite”. Jimin actually has been known to make suggestions, as well as add, change or improve on choreography from BTS song’s choreo. Jimin already at early age of 10, started studying hip hop at the renowned Just Dance Academy, in Busan, city where Jimin’s from, which teaches all the many different styles of hip hop. There is even a post made that shows a performance where young again 11 Jimin in 2007, not only performed already, on right front side of stage, but later on went in front and did a solo. JIMIN also competed, excelling in popping, & isolation moves, winning every competition. JIMIN also since a little boy, trained 8 yrs in various forms of martial arts: Taekwondo (blackbelt), Hapkido, Kendo, & Chinese martial arts. Side Note: When learning Taekwondo, as a little boy, I believe Jimin said that doing the splits was one of the first things required to be able to do. He said that he'd put his legs split, up against the wall for quite long, hrs at a time. This was aside from still attending middle school Jimin, where he was already into all kinds of sports, including being part of soccer team,, but also basketball, even joined after school billiards, also excelling in track & field throughout his schooling. Then, while going to Busan Highschool of the Arts, he then also studied & performed contemporary. Media even called Jimin “The rising star of Busan” after seeing Jimin perform on stage during a huge festival. JIMIN also studied, some ballet as well as even traditional Korean dance. But Jimin’s main love was always hip hop. Though he did enjoy dancing contemporary, which Jimin indeed excels at, to this day all his dance movements, have his exquisite body placement, amazing elegant, poised, clean lines, as well as he also always stands, even without dancing, with out-turned feet, his foot positions always end up while dancing in classical out turned foot position, placement that classically trained dancers have. Jimin found he could express himself even more through contemporary dance. Very few dancers have the ability to dance as many styles of dance as well as have the ability to incorporate all of them, even his gravity defying, martial arts, moves in his dance. Hobi is dance leader not dance ‘teacher’; there’s a difference - they have choreographers. Jimin is the best dancer in KPop. He is (and has been labelled by experts) a dance prodigy, who is masterful in virtually every genre of dance; on top of that he uses his martial arts to make his dancing more unique. Hobi, while an expert in his style of dance, is not versatile. Hobi learns the choreo from the choreographers and then ‘teaches’ the others; there are plenty of YT videos that show Jimin being as important to the choreography (corrections and changes) and helping the other guys. Hobi, himself, has said he relies on Jimin and praises him for being important in the role of being right along side him. JK is not main dancer like Jimin & Hobi; while he is in the dance line, he is lead dancer, which means he’s less skilled than ‘main’; he’s not anywhere near the same level as Jimin and Hobi. He can dance but it’s not ‘tidy’…I actually think Taehyung has become a better dancer than JK.
