To remove ads completely, go to additional settings > region > united kingdom, voila ads will be gone but you loose some apps like get apps, themes and fonts inside theme app, mi pay etc bloatware, this will do nothing to OTA updates, Dhananjay pls simply this method too.

also go to security application and mi file explorer app and in settings turn off virus scanning, turn off recomendation in "about" or "version" info section..

Go to Settings >> Authorisation & revocation, disable GetApps; and if your device lets you, disable Mi Video & MSA too. Also disable data permissions of Mi video, Browser, MSA, Quick Apps, Analytics & Facebook Services and other apps that show excessive ads. You will have a much better device in your hands after you are finished.

Spend little and get 3600 it will be i7 equivalent ok .if only gaming then 3500is good but many games are being optimisted for 6core 12 thread. So 3600 is safer route for future gaming and content creation.

Obvious go for r5 3600 ,... 12 threads vs intel's 6 threads... there is minimal difference like 5-7fps more in intel but intel is not as good as AMD in multi-tasking... If you are only gaming only than go for 9400f and invest remaining amount in gpu or if you are in gaming+streaming+editing than go for r5 3600.Myself recently upgraded i5 7500 to r7 2700x 😁 Don't forget to checkout my channel too bro.🤗 All the best.😄

You should use mi account 1) it allows you to find device 2) disable mi cloud 3) go to mi video/get apps/Themes/mi music/file explorer settings about disable recommendations 4) don't use the default browser, manage apps - default apps- select firefox focus 5) you can disable google and mi apps use system app remover
