18:35 You were actually doing it right. HG just patched it out a while back, so now you cant go about making infinite copper. Whereas the recipe used to give you 4 copper for every 1 (effectively making it a 3:4), it now only makes 2 copper, making it a 3:2. So it wasnt that you were doing it wrong or using the wrong refiner, but rather the recipe just gets run at a loss now, rather than a profit

You actually don't need power to use the the medium and large refiners. That's one of the best things about them *Edit - Also, you can build medium and large refiners, as well as those carbon planters on your freighter. The planters will automatically receive power from your freighter, so it's one less thing to worry about

Shoot the ground from your ship. Go slow, stay close. Find planets with small flora for carbon and planets with a lot of small rocks for ferrite dust. Either way you choose you will get a stack within minutes. And it’s fun.

Use oxygen with carbon to increase the yield

use it with condensed carbon then refine it back to carbon. I use it with condensed carbon when I craft stasis devices. I keep all the carbon I need that way. I also have an oxygen base with around 85k units of storage. On my Survival save I just buy a bunch of oxygen at wealthy space stations.

All of the main exclusive items that you get from the expedition (like exclusive ships, frigates, companions, buildable blueprints, etc) can be redeemed in any save, just like how Z did with the Golden Vector. Stuff like random upgrades doesnt transfer tho

I am sitting on Atrox in my large shuttle with my atmospheric condenser waiting on it to fill a few containers of Helium while I'm watching this. I'm only using 2 portable rtg's and a bunch of solar and wind power. Left all of the power on a medium silo in the ship. Makes it easier not to have to unload everything and set it up on platforms.

Idk, isn't the whole point of the expeditions is to a new gaming experience? If I wanted to see the golden vector or other redeemed gear, I could just rewatch the nonexpedition episodes.
