I'm a KTM/ Husky fan boy...but the Honda W.E. is the best looking works edition bike IMO...Beautiful.

In my dreams I'm riding that bike and Marty is right behind me holding off Roger on his Suzuki. And thanks, Dirt Bike, for showing us this big Honda, tho' they really should call it a big Elsie.

I have the 2021 model, (looks identical) these are awesome fast! (and, porting ...well..maybe, one guys took his apart, they barely do anything to the valve seat areas) so I'm guessing these have a bit more radical cam than stock. With that pipe, it actually sounds like my 2011 450crf (which has an fmf pipe) on the 2021, the programmable settings (I think it was the traction mode) is just dumb though, (over-engineered perhaps?) one of the settings if set wrong, will make you feel every single stone your front tire rolls over. ( super-annoying of course, so I switched it back) zero complaints overall, this bike is just SWEEEEET! . another rider at Meadow Valley MX /nationals weekend.....said the same thing about that programmable setting (he had the same bike...what were the odds? )

My question is simple; is it possible to install a 1984 CR500 motor in this current chassis?

I used to race, wasn't very good at it but I did it on a budget of shoveling snow, mowing lawns and raking leaves. Yeah I did it!

It's okay bro, the new bikes with the latest technology still blubber, just listen to them. They are not crisply jetted and much of that has to do with the maps that are provided by the factory. The four stroke still are, from the factory, ill mapped, overmotored and under chassis. Same problem I have been experiencing for over 40 years.

Short answer, yes. Long answer, yes, but its a bit pricey if you don't do it yourself.

I wish Yamaha would do the same thing but I'm thinking that they will..

My 2022 Honda 450 C r f . R l I bought new Now only has 150 miles on I t . I already put almost 4000 into it And it is now February 16th 2024.. I put the vortex ECU in there. Rosarima pipe Super cross tires. And H a d The front and rear suspension. All reworked And it is still stiffer than a covered wagon 200 years ago. It is still the stiffest suspension. I have ever Road on any bike in my lifetime. So my advice is, don't ever ever ever take this off-road. It is fine for the street and has plenty of horsepower. I don't know what they were thinking when they were making this suspension. I had my suspension Redone on MY 92 Honda CR 500. Bored ported and polished, and it is the best suspension. I have ever Road on And the same guy did both bikes and H e specializes Boring Port I n g And suspension.

When I bought my first new bike it was a 1989 CR250, I paid a little over $3500 for that bike. New bikes are stupid expensive.
