First Ride And Tuning Of My New YD100 Dio Reed Setup

I take my new dio Reed yd100 on its first real test ride. I also start tuning the carburetor to get it rippin. Heather and I take an over 100 mile round trip. I also get two flats in ten minutes.

To flat proof your tires, put one tire inside another tire and use the old tube as a liner to put the new tube into. So old tube around the new tube and that goes inside old tire and then they go inside new tire and then onto the rim! Wheewwwww! 🤘😁

Simple rules on jetting follow them air mix /pilot jet is zero to 1/4 throttle. Needle is 1/4 to 3/4 throttle. Main jet is 3/4 to wide open. Great job what the condensation on your intake says it's got good velocity

Gunna go ahead and tell you. Take off that power jet tube on top and plug those jets up. Takes away the bogging down

Not exactly but once it’s tuned I expect we’ll over 50 n the jets are finally on the way to bad I took the motor completely apart n decided to cut the cylinder in half n do some CRAZY more work to it after what I’m planning now I’m expecting even more it should be so nutty after this. I’m really excited about it now

Tbh I never asked what the final autopsy report said, but he was a trash man n was on back of truck n at one of the stops he suddenly collapsed. I think it was from his long time disease hemps tutus or something like that. His liver failed then kidney he was rush to hospital but was pronounced dead about a hour later. He was 38 years old. Left behind 4 kids and a wife. He was a great guy and was completely selfless to a fault. He was like a brother to me, we had been friends for about twenty years. He will b missed but always loved. Thanks for asking though.

In my case I was goin up a very steep hill n my carb is way to rich in this video. So if your having similar pops (not backfireing) and it’s under acceleration it’s called “4stroking” n it’s caused by the carb being to rich. Have tried moving your c-clip up a notch or two on your needle? Also if u can try joining my Facebook group cause it’s easier to talk back n forth on there n u can get other opinions about it all. Either way let me know how it goes when u move the clip up n lean out your carb some.

@@JMB676 I don't have much experience like I said this is my first built and my carburetor was missing the school to drink your fluids so I put Teflon tape and electrical tape on top of it and it held up pretty nicely but I still had a bit of an air leak so that's why I bought the HP carb which I haven't ran yet because of the weather but it would be awesome if you can help me out

Where’s plant city? But that makes sense most the time people I feel just want to say they have a large jet cause they think it’s cool or something but once u put a proper jet size in n then u feel real power out the motor n it’s such a difference then when u got it to fat. I’m using 75 atm but need leaner just waiting to get money to order the jets but I’m thinkin a 70ish will probably be where I need to be. Thanks for info n thanks for watching

Always unless it’s a block away on back streets n slow speed or for test rides around block other then that always a helmet but not a bike helmet I use and recommend motorcycle helmets
