I give you respect for posting this. It will help all dct owners. No clutch and always in first unless you hit the neutral bottom. I always rev my bike when I am backing it in to the curb.

That's what I am saying. Good for you for posting the mistakes

Ya that's the infamous rebel tank dent. Every drop earns you one of those. Maybe harder handle bars so they don't rebound when dropped, idk.

I’m looking to get a rebel 1100 dct also but let me ask you a question.. Do you think this would be a good bike to have for a beginner? The only experience I have is from the msf course.
@sinnarides6 ай бұрын
This was my first bike too and I had only ridden in an msf course as well. I think as long as you take it easy until you're used to the bike it's fine as a first bike. I kept mine in rain mode for the first 600 miles or so and just tried to not be crazy with it.

Was this your mistake or a malfunction of the bike?
@sinnarides3 ай бұрын
My mistake. Slipped and grabbed onto the handle bars to catch myself. Wrenched the throttle pretty good and I had left it in Drive when backing it up

Hello my friend how is the bike and you doing now ? One question does it stop on a dime in emergencies since no hand lever clutch? Do you just grab the fromt and mash the back pedal to make it stop? I beginning to think it is like my auto car just press gas and brake pedals. Thanks for your co Mments and video.
@sinnarides Жыл бұрын
It's stops really well. With the ABS you can just grab a handful of the front brake and stomp on the rear and it doesn't have any problems at all.
@GLH1213 Жыл бұрын
@@sinnarides thanks buddy i think i can do that grab on front brake lever and stomp on rear brake pedal. Lol. Been riding 50 years now and honestly i was getting bored and i think this will give me a challenge. Thanks again.

I looked for a manual for about 6 months, but never found a dealer in my state with one unfortunately.

@@sinnarideshave you thought about trading in for a manual. I had to go over two states to get mine. Worth the trip

@@therealts2 No, when i sell this bike I'll be getting a different platform. If I ever get a Rebel again in the future I'm definitely getting a manual though.
