I'm glad you are back riding again. Fear is what keeps us alive. It will find its proper balance over time.

Hey, great to see you back on the road again! Sorry I never answered your question about how many miles I have on my Sportster. To tell you the truth, I couldn't tell ya. It's been apart for years and the battery is too dead to get a reading. Had a lot of knee and back problems shortly after taking it apart to do a lot of upgrades and haven't been able to get down on the ground to do the work. Hopefully someday before I die of old age I'll get it running again.

About five years ago, l was on a mini two day road trip. A large male deer came out of the trees to my right, and I swear ran in front of me for about two seconds!! It seemed like every thing was happening in slow motion! I could hear it's hooves on the pavement!! By the grace of God, luck or whatever you want to call it, the deer then dashed to the right and back into the bush! Wouldn't you know it, l didn't have my Drift video camera on at the time. Glad your o.k..Safe Travels. 🙂 🏍 🇨🇦

I missed replying to you when you posted this. Yeah it was one heck of a ride! I had a couple near misses in the past. Glad you didn't hit that one. I hate deer!
