Smoother shifts, adding higher load allows for a better ignition cut so you don't have a clunky up shift, or a stuttery one.

@@Yxmmie but ive seen so many people so it too, i think its because of the blip sound when upshifting, if u pay attention that umph sound only happens when he blips the throttle right before shifting. I don’t think its good for the clutch tho

You not worried about getting a £100 fine for that exhaust? I've been contemplating whether to risk getting the racing line or not. The Euro 5 compliant exhaust sounds terrible and worse than stock.

@@wouterstein4387 Yeah new Euro 5 legislation in the UK unfortunately. Not to mention, there are now noise cameras being deployed that will fine you automatically. They have them in Chelsea already...

@@hisride I actually misread the article that says its a £100 fine but can be increased to £1k if not paid in time and taken to court. I believe if a cop stops you its a £50 on the spot fine. The limit for motorcycles (different to cars) is around 89dB if I am not mistaken. But still, a cop can choose to take your bike off the road so is it really worth the risk?

@@Bigman-kq8iithe power never gets boring on the mt09, the mt07 i got bored of the power when doin my test on one, so im glad that id done my test with one as wouldnt of been impressed with havin a 07 to the 09 i bought 🤣 night and day difference 👍🏼 had it neally a yr and never got bored of it

Own both, the only thing the 09 is superior at is 80+ highway speeds, and the cruise is nice. Longer trips and touring = MT09, anything else the 07 is a lot more fun.
