This is the best offensive team in the history of the Blues, which goes back to 1967. For the Blues to beat Colorado though, Jordan Binnington must continue to play like how he did to win the Cup in 2019. Husso got them to the playoffs, and now Binnington is doing the rest. The series with Colorado may be the one that decides the Stanley Cup winner. If the Blues do win the Cup, it will be Jordan Binnington that makes the difference because the Blues can score versus anyone.

Great Series best of luck next year Minnesota. You have nothing to hold your heads down for that Kaprisov (reminds me of a young Jagr or Ovechkin) is fun to watch and Fleury had stints where he reminded me of the net minder in Pittsburg and Vegas. The Blues and Avs are going to be a gritty fun series to watch I see it going seven games with multiple games going into OT. I do think the most interesting aspect for me was the resurgence of Binnington; don't get me wrong 5 out of his last 6 games is impressive but his netminder presence looks like 2019. I think it will be a very physical series I am going to love seeing Kadri match up against Scheen should be fun.

Blues starting to round into form. Got to their game in the 3rd last game, and tonight it was the second. So they have started clicking. I think 11 forwards works better with the way blues are built without a true 4th line. The top 9 and then bozak and torp, both have been really good. Game 5 and 6 they limited odd man rushes shutting down the wild's transition game. Glad leddy's back and the defense looks better, but defense starts with forwards managing pucks. Kyrou's looked a bit lost at times. Blues got a couple gears higher and they're gonna need it against the avs.

The toughest test the Blues have faced almost every time we face them the Colorado Avalanche in the playoffs. This year the Blues have only faced them 3 times with the Avs beating us 2-1. Last years playoffs was due to too many injuries on the Blues and the boys not being physical with the Avs. The Blues gotta play more physical style hockey and rebound them goals. So far I haven't seen the Avs backup goalie I have only seen Darcy Kuemper because they've played so well in front of him. Same as the Wild series the Blues gotta take this as 1 game at a time.

This series was haunted. So many weird things, from game 1 being played on the power play for more than half the game, to a stick breaking for no reason leading to a goal on shot attempt #1, to great skaters catching edges while skating straight ahead to rebounds landing directly on opposition tape, to a blocked shot with a guy's neck, to a high stick from a teammate sending a guy to the back for almost an entire period. It was pure chaos. Start to finish.

Minnesota got several career years out of players with unsustainable shooting% and won a lot of overtime and shootouts in the regular season so it is not as much a surprise that the playoff tested blues could edge them out, but definitely could've seen the series going the other way.

The second period the Blues manhandled the Wild. The heavy game the Wild were playing was given right back to them, with the Blues getting more loose pucks, playing the majority of the period in the Wild zone, and the penalty kill unit getting more shots on goal than the Wild power play. The third period Binnington was almost unbeatable. Blues will be tough customers if they keep up this style of play. You can't minimize how good a coach Berube is. From having to play a game with two defensemen playing 30 minutes each due to injuries to putting Binnington in goal when he did to changing up the lines, the guy seems to push all the right buttons. The fact that the Blues won this series with some of their top defensemen out for part of the series doesn't bode well for the Avs.

@@thomaschurch5322 MAF let in a couple soft goals. Series loss not on him but played a part. Minnesota lacked production in the back end lines. Blues played a good series. I doubt they get past Colorado tho.

You're right. They're cursed. Now they are going to have to fix this mess with all the dead cap space they have and will probably take a step back next year. Not that they really ever take steps forward. Every season is just "settle for mediocrity"

@@stopdroolin8418 Litetally anyone. Kaprizov carried them to where they are and they fell off; even though he was averaging more than a goal per game in the playoffs
