First Run Of 2024! Starting The Year With A Bang (5km Parkrun)

New Year's Day is a special day. It marks the start of a new year, full of hopes, dreams and possibilities. Running a parkrun is one of my favourite ways to spend New Year's Day morning. it's a great opportunity to start the year of running off with a bang, and set a positive tone for all the training, racing and enjoyment of this incredible sport to come.
On New Year's Day 2024, I headed down to Maidstone Parkrun, in Kent, and had a blast. In this video, I share my experience of my first run of 2024.

Apologies for the dodgy audio at the start. I (intelligently) decided to film the opening next to a river lock, with lots of deafening water cascading over the edge, which messed up the sound. Thanks!
