The reason why Ten Hag prefers Antony so much is his work ethic and defensive output. There are certain things to football beyond just G+A. Look at that Arsenal game again. Every time Antony loses any ball, he works his a** off to run and chase that ball down again and either win it or make a challenge at least. Sancho is the most lazy player on the pitch every time he plays. He backs off from hard tackles, doesn't get into duels and doesn't provide half the work rate Antony does. ETH has been more than fair with him given how much patience and time he has invested on Sancho and tbh I didn't think ETH had said anything significantly wrong about Sancho. He was asked why Sancho is not there and he simply replied that he wasn't happy with him in the training. Wan Bissaka was initially not in ETH's plan, he wasn't even included in the squad for several games. There wasn't a single nonsense comment from him. He kept his head down and kept working and to his credit ETH did give him his chances and he grabbed it with both hands. That's how a player's approach should be. He punished Garnacho in the pre-season, he dropped Rashford from starting 11 despite being the main attacker in the team. How can people still come out and say that it's unfair on Sancho or ETH is at fault here. We have had enough of this player power culture in the club. It's high time we put an end to that.
