And I find it sooo interesting that both those palomino babies came out of dark colored mare's. Are the Sires homozygous at all? Is there such a thing to be homozygous in Roans? This pertains to a video I watched yesterday from Danielle, that showed a horse Henson was riding trying to catch up with a smell bunch. That horse was gorgeous and so shiny that it looked chrome plated 3 or 4 hundred yards out. Most of your horses are so shiny that they would make any woman jealous.

Your foals get to stretch their tendons out by living in the pasture. As Henson has pointed out, horses born out the open seem to travel better and get more exposure to the world.
