Ello Theo Small tips for the welding: -You should use a bit more current, so it melts the metal properly. -Hold the gun at a bigger angle, so you can see what are you doing, and it will come out cleaner. -The end of the wire should be just over the tip of the gun, because with a smaller hanging piece you can weld more precisely. BTW great video, keep on practicing! ;)

One thing you need to know about welding in a video, all of the garage welders out there will put you down to make themselves feel good. It doesn't matter the quality of the weld, or even if they could do it better, as long as they see you do something incorrectly, they will shout it from the rooftops so to make themselves feel better about themselves.

Of all the trades/craftsmanship-based industries, welding seems to be full of the highest percentage of people who wayyyy overestimate how important their work is. Very toxic community. I've thought about going that route next career-wise but that's probably the main deterrent

Big ups on learning to weld Theo! That’s a very useful skill to have in your back pocket!😎👌🏾 Edit: 6:15 Hey, noticed your wire was sticking wayyy too far out from the tip. The gas only does its job very close around the tip of the welder and quickly diffuses and lets oxygen in. Try turning down your feed speed so your spark point is very close to the tip so you’ll get dimes instead of boogers lol. Nice job for a first attempt over all though. Keep at it!👍🏾👍🏾

Go duel caliper setup as you wont get good feedback when drifting using a hydro off the standard braking system. Look up hydro setups and most run it on a stand alone system via separate rear calipers.

May I tell you that you should train initiating a drift not just via the handbrake but also through inertia. It's never wrong to expand your abilities! I, because I don't have a hydraulic handbrake in my E46 Driftcar and the standard Drum Style Handbrake really sucks without some sort of lever extension, learnt to drift with just inertia . As you progress further there are more use cases for hydraulic handbrakes to position the car and to slow down in drift. I thought about putting a hydraulic handbrake in my car, but it's real hard to get it inspected in Germany because TÜV as my E46 is still registered. Talking aside, I wish you alot of fun drifting your pretty toy my dude!
