What made you put the exhaust fan and the charcoal filter on the outside of your grow space?

I wanted the extra space inside of the tent. I have room above, so it just makes sense in my case to put it up there.

I just swapped the SF1000 for the G3000 in the exact same tent! Scared as hell haha. They startet to flower this week any tips how high and intense the light should be at this point? Im growing autos at the moment at 18/6.

How did you fix the lcd display for the fan? Do you have a bit of wood behind that you screwed it into?

Yeah, I will use chunks of thread or plastic to attach it. I am going to do an unboxing and review of the fan soon, and will show how I attach the controller to the tent =)

nothing wrong with keeping it small, thats my plan till i end up with asome sort of watering system, hand watering synthetics is a pain.

hey so you have the inflow from the fan into carbon filter and then out? i am currently setting up with both carbon filter and fan inside my tent, and it's sucking air from the carbon filter into the fan then out.. im not sure which one is better, but definitely want to fix it if mine is wrong before i start my very first session of growing

Anything that came in contact with the mold should be cleaned with a mild bleach solution....spores just sit and wait until perfect growing conditions are met....I have been involved with mold issues....mold abatement....I always thought the home mold scare was just a money making deal....and it was...but to plants its more dangerous ...than to humans...unless its black mold...then just burn your house down...haha

I cleaned everything up pretty well, at least as well as I can =) The spores will always be out there, I am just going to be a lot better about keeping the conditions in the studio less desirable to the mold forming =)

The fan is sucking the air out of the top of the tent, and then pushing it thru the carbon filter. Leaves more room inside of the tent =)

yes but its no inline filter , normal u need to suck air trough these thats how they are designed @@TheHippieGeeks

It will work either way. The only thing you really miss out on is putting the pre-filter sock on the filter so it ends up shortening the life of the carbon filter. It works just as well either way, and while I will usually leave the entire setup inside of the tent set up like you would expect, sometimes when I need the extra space inside of the tent itself I will set them up like this. Never had a problem with smell either way =)
