Once you get your car cleaned off you can cover the windshield and hood with plastic and when it snows, just lift/slide the plastic off.

Gosh, 8 inches of snow and 2 inches of ice? I can't deal with the ice much. It always scares me. Poor little miracle! Put her down in the snow. She looked like she had been in the snow so long that her eyelashes were frozen. Tyler didn't look too happy. He didn't want to get the ice off the cars. I saw someone on YT this morning from Kentucky that had large pieces of plastic drapped over his truck. He had it over the windshield, back glass, and side windows. Not a bit of snow or ice was on there. Maybe that would help you. I hope you have a great day!
