Thank you to everyone for all the support, this video has been getting a ton of views and I'm greatly appreciative. If you enjoyed it I'd like to encourage you to check out the other videos on the channel. This video is a funny one to have most viewed on my channel since this recording was literally my first few minutes on the new kit and I was still getting use to how much larger the drums were. Thanks again for everyone's likes, views and comments!

Eric-it's absolutely perfect! You gotta make a tutorial lessons for these licks in this solo!!!! It's a Holy Grail to we Bonhamites!!

Thanks Terry! maybe I'll have to make some video soon. I also love your videos and your lessons/lectures about drums and all things Bonham, keep up the videos. PS: Do more live chats, I seem to unfortunately miss most of them while at school.

@@rainsong7327 The new drumset actually has a 26" bassdrum. I went from a 22" to the 26" and I didn't really find too much difference, only thing to watch out for is if you bury the beater you might have to fight the pedal wanting to come back just a bit more because of the larger drum. As far as the height, I'm 6'3" and find that I look proportional better behind the bigger drums. The 26" is just around the height where the top of my floor toms come up to, so It looks fine. I'm sure if your 6' a 24" bassdrum would look normal.

Bro wtf. I wasn’t expecting that at all. You killed it. I’ve watched that solo a million times and it sounded exactly like bonham
@josephmonaco4503 Жыл бұрын
Eric, I already complimented you about 1 or 2 years ago when I first watched and heard you play Moby Dick outside on a back porch with this same set of Ludwig's and like then, You are excellent. I've listened to Zeppelin since 1967 when I was 13 yrs old and I haven't heard anyone play drums like Bonham since then except for you. You either have a memory like an elephant or you read drum music perfectly. I believe that that you have and do both perfectly. You also know your rudiments and have tremendous speed and dexterity evenly with both hands and your feet. I'm very proud of you because of your age and your taste in music from my time. But, Then again, There is only one Led Zeppelin and only One John Bonham. Buddy Rich is and will always be my favorite drummer forever because nobody can play like he did. Greg Potter, his son-in-law that he never met can play with his band " And Does" and Greg also has the ability to play all of Buddy's drumming but, You can still tell that it's not Buddy playing when you close your eyes because Buddy had like the rest of us, A unique Swing about his playing , that you can feel when he played. You know exactly what I'm talking about. Anyway. Great job as usual and I hope you live a long, fruitful life and make Millions of dollars doing what you are best at. Your brother in Music and Drumming Joseph
