FIRST SOLO TRIP TO PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO |

In this video we're going to Puerto Vallarta from Calgary! I took this solo trip! This was by far one of the best things I have ever done in my entire life. Puerto Vallarta is definitely a hidden gem as a whole, but more specifically this resort needs its flowers! This experience definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, but in the best way possible. I would 1000% recommend to anybody interested in solo travel to just do it! You will have a blast and meet so many people I promise you.

I was in Huatalco area just in Mid June and the customs forms for Canadians entering mexico are no longer required. I got into the foreigners line in the customs and immigration line up in Mexico City after landing from Vancouver and ZERO forms now. You walk up to an agent he asks 3-4 simple questions and your in. Finally super easy entry for us Cdns.

Puerto Vallarta is very safe. The taxis and the Ubers are awesome. Will protect you anywhere. They are there to serve and help you. Have a great vacation

Hey love! Thank you for sharing your experience in PV! Do you think its worth getting a driver or are Ubers affordable especially if you are staying in the Zona Romantica area?

the best way to explore downtown and romantic zone will always be walking! streets are lovely and have lots of interesting stuff... if you have to go to some beach, hotel zone/marina or somewhere else, an uber will be kinda cheap. in my last trip we took uber to conchas chinas beach and it was like $4 ride, we also took to hotel zone during day and it was $8 at 6pm and $12 at 2 am

i also recommend taking mismaloya bus at constitucion corner basilio badillo street, it will take you to the best beaches in puerto vallarta such as punta negra, mismaloya or boca de tomatlan where you can take a boat to colomitos, playa magadascar etc

The food looks horrible / bland and that’s why I never do all inclusive. You’re in Mexico where they have fantastic food that you’re missing out on which I don’t understand .
