First Southwest Airlines 737-800 in Burbank! Push Back, Taxi, & Takeoff

You heard correctly, The gates that Southwest currently uses at BUR can't fit it, but there are two gates that are not being occupied by any carrier that can hold them. That is where they will be parking it. If you are familiar with BUR the gates that can hold it are A8 & A9.

Very nice! I had originally heard they couldn't fly the 800 into to BUR because they didn't have room on the Southwest end of the terminal. Guess I heard wrong.

I kind of miss the 800 we had at CLE for a little while last summer, it was our Vegas nonstop. That aft cargo hold was a bitch to work by yourself though holy hell.
