Only pilots wear no plate in the back, because they sit in a ballistic bucket seat. Crewchiefs, Door/Ramp gunners, Flight Medics, and Flight Engineers still wear back plates, and are who will benefit from the ABAV the most.

All honesty if I had known their Strandhogg was cheaper than their Assaulter Armor Carrier then I would have gone for the former but their customer service department made the recommendation of the AAC which is the more expensive option
