First start attempt!

For me, making this video has been in my dreams for years. We FINALLY attempt the first start of my dream Project: Top Gun. Will it start? Can we make the OEM engine computers work? Is the engine healthy? Did I screw up the wiring? I answer these questions and many more in this action packed episode #37. Enjoy this one as the next one will be even wilder!!

You do realise that 99.9% of us haven’t got a clue what you are talking about when you are programming the ECU systems etc. I can only assume that your work includes computer programming. You can install supertrap silencers inside of 3 inch tubing...mine were removable for track days.

Cannot remember if you have been paint marking torqued/tightened bolts, nuts, hoses and other fittings as you go? It’s almost essential if you want to avoid missing something.

Tip. For smoothing down stickers vinyl and such use a wadded cloth or other soft clean slippery thing instead of your fingers. Your fingers and palms are likely to damage the material as they have too much grip and oil etc and don’t spread the force enough

If it’s too loud under load on the street, I designed the x-pipe so that I can easily fit a new rear exhaust section with vertical/diagonal mufflers. But we’ll see!!
